Once Upon A Child Vestal

"I've bought from them before they do have some good deals. Some items they charge new store prices for used items...I've sold to them before sometimes I get a decent amount other times I don't. For example I just went last week it's Christmas time I'd figure they'd be generous. Bunch of scrooges!!! They took a nike coat a new pair of shoes and a sensory game I do believe they said 15 items I only got 25$. So dont assume if you have nice new looking items they will give you alot of money. I would have been better off selling them myself. I also tried applying there they advised flexible hrs which is what I need. I have experience in different jobs clean background. I didn't recieve a call back. Places say there hiring but they are all super picky about who they hire it's ridiculous no wonder why our country is in economic crisis!!!"

"Horrible customer service! There is some awfully rude women that work there. Constant turnover because I can’t imagine how people could deal with it! Hire some young happy people please, maybe some new moms that can relate."

"Vestal, N.Y. Location: Being honest. I'm not going to lie. I was disappointed. She stated what they offer: the offer per item is broken down by 3 ways/33% *My experience is that they don't always give you what they say or what you think they are. This is from my recent visit....so my daughter bought and paid 9 or 10 dollars for one brand pair of jeans for my granddaughter. I gave her the 24 pairs of brand new jeans that still had new tags on them that I had bought for the grandkids that didn't fit and one girls dance outfit=25 items. All had been bought in the last 30 days. When my daughter returned I was only given $52dollars for everything. And my daughter asked: so $2 for each pair of jeans and the lady said yes. A week later the jeans I had her bring in are all marked more than $6, what I was offered. So, I was cheated. The day she went the credit card reader was down. The people weren't very friendly and the atmosphere seemed stressed. We had someone who works open a taped box, checked to make sure that a specific item was in the box, without that item it wasn't really usable, it wasn't in there, making the item good for nothing but parts. So be careful what you by it's not always good. I gave one star for variety and one for cleanliness ."

"The place has changed it's people working there over the years. The older women that works there is always smiling and pleasant. Prices are decent. They are choosey on the items that they take however, the amount they offer you seems fair. I didn't give them 5 Stars because of the garbage that was in the parking lot."

"I have never been to this location, and I am still in awe. The place was so organized. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The clothing was clean and fairly priced. I don't know who manages this place, but I think they have done an AMAZING job! It's one thing to be organized but to have a full staff that is keeping it in order as well ....is a great thing! Well done!"
