"I recently bought a ps 1 from them and it was broken when i put a ps1 game in it doesn't play. I went to get it returned for a new one and they didn't test the new one so I once again got another broken play station. Some of the games I have bought from them have very bad scratches and outright don't work (update. Our TV was the problem and the play station one works fine"
"This store is a pretty cool retro store. The only downfall is their pricing. I bought a PSP that came with no joystick, crack in screen, no battery, or even memory stick for $100. On EBay you can find them in that condition WAY cheaper! But I bought it for convenience of getting it immediately. After a couple months I found myself not using it so I go to try and sell it back and they offered me a whooping $16. Not only did I give them more than was originally sold the attitudes of the workers make you feel unwanted there. If GameStop never stopped selling and buying retro games/consoles im sure they’d be the better option. In all if you’re looking to pay a higher price for mediocre condition products this is your place."
"A really neat, kinda niche place. They had a ton of old video games and systems, to include some that I never in a million years would have expected to find (Like a Commodore 64, still in the box!) This is absolutely the place to go for "old" video games and systems. We looked for a Wii for a very long time with no luck a couple of years back. This place had something like 7 of them, ready for purchase, plus more games than I'd seen in one place. The place is small, but comfortable, and the staff is friendly. As I said, kinda niche, but well worth stopping in if you're looking for something 'old' in the gaming world, because as far as I could tell, whatever it is you're looking for... they've got it!"
"This place is so awesome. It's your One Stop Shop for old school and new school games consoles, , games, and even coin arcade games. Walking around in the store will definitely take you back to your younger years and definitely make you question what is that even if you are still young LOL. Staff is polite knowledgeable respectful and courteous I definitely find myself doing repeat business here!"
"Looked like a cool place, so I drove two hours to visit. Retro games and arcade machines? Awesome! It was not, in fact, awesome. A very small store, only two of the 5+ arcade machines were working, and everything looked quite a bit dusty. There were plenty of retro games, and consoles up to present day. I picked out two (fairly new, all things told) games and went to buy them. One of the games (Dragon Age 2 for Xbox360) wasn't in stock at all, despite being on the shelf. The employee looked through lots of places, many of which had game discs just stacked atop one another and easily scratched by mishandling and climate. After looking to the best of his ability, he said it must have been a mistake and they didn't have it. That's fine. Sure. My wife looked online once we got back to the car and found it for $8 at a Game Stop instead of the almost $20 they were charging. So score, deal for me. But it was frustrating nonetheless, and there seem to be plenty of reviews about prices being high here. I'm happy to support a smaller business at a higher price to an extent, but when they don't even have the game... The second game I was actually able to purchase, and went to play it today, only to find that the disc is so damaged that it won't even load (pictures below). So I'm out extra money because they either bought a bum game without checking or don't properly maintain their stock to prevent damage. I'm sure this was a great store years ago, but it has fallen so incredibly far downhill. Not worth the visit, even if you don't have to drive two hours to see it."
