The Westin Washington, DC Downtown

"Work time In Washington DC from Texas. Mentor hosted our annual conference at Westin this year. They were not prepared for people that flew from various cities and states. I was told I would get a text when my room became available. I went to dinner and never received a response. I didn’t get into my room until after 6:30pm. No apologies for the huge inconvenience this caused. I had to find someone to hold my luggage and the find them when my room became available. My coworkers shared that the house keeping told them that it was a conference before Mentor so they were taking their time to get the rooms together from one event to the other. Again no apologies no upgrade from the hotel management team. What has happened to great customer service?"

"Great location to the convention center. Easy check-in and good service. Rooms were redone and the overall quality was good. However, the bedding quality control for cleanliness was questionable. The in-house bar and restaurant is decent and with a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Overall, a good stay within expected norms."

"Location is excellent! Near about 5 different metro lines and 2 stops and lots of density surrounding it. Gym is also really good. Lobby is great and so are the rooms. However most things are paid including the breakfast (nearly 25 dollars a person!!) and the parking. Service however was not super helpful and not supportive as well. Had issues regarding extra money charged and the expensive food options that are not included with the already mid range hotel price. Overall, this hotel is an okay deal give its location but better options do exist."

"I was here this summer and the rooms were great, very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And I had a great view! Didn’t have any issues. I especially loved the Starbucks in the lobby, I mobile ordered my coffee every morning on my way to my conference meetings downstairs. Also in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions."

"Location, perfect. Amenities and staff, outstanding. We walked to restaurants and the National Mall and shopping. The rooms are clean and nice, the general area around the hotel felt safe. But do not go to this hotel without seeing the most amazing hotel Gym this side of the Mississippi. I loved our vacation, the hotel and seeing DC, but I will never forget this hotel's gym, huge, well designed, great equipment. I would have liked to have stayed an extra day.... just to use the gym again."
