"It has been a pleasure staying here for the week. The room has been left immaculate by the housekeeping services every day. No problems at all sleeping during the night in the comfortable bed. This hotel is so centrally located in this city, I didn't need a car at all. My stay could not have been better. I will keep my eye out for sales, so I can book a room again in the future. Thank you."
"My wife booked a room for us and, within seconds, noticed that we could save some money with a package deal that included the room plus parking. She called immediately, and was told that she was bound by her nonrefundable contract. This reflects poor customer relations and is short-sighted. We can of course recoup the money lost through reduced tipping and, after this trip, are looking forward to never having to do business with this hotel again! Perhaps you can learn from our mistake before you book in the first place."
"Had a fantastic 4 night stay here. The location is incredible- steps from bus, metro, and the Postal Museum as well. Getting around DC from this point is super easy. The staff were very friendly and check in/out was fast. Room was very comfortable. Coffee and tea available 24 hours was a big plus coming back from the cold! I will definitely stay here again."
"Great location, just 3 minute walk to Union Station and around 10 minute walk to the Capital Building. Service was WONDERFUL! All staff were friendly and responded to our needs immediately (extra blankets, towels), one housekeeper actually stopped what she was doing to open our room door for us because she noticed our hands were full! Special shout-outs to Darren for always greeting us with a warm smile and Brenda for her professionalism and ability to answer our questions. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the location, cleanliness and complimentary coffee and tea station made up for that. Nice upgrades in the room as well; marble bathroom tile and laminate wood flooring in the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend you give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed in the high quality service and proximity to metro and National Mall!"
"I was able to book a same day room Monday night due to my best friend and my train being cancelled because of the weather. First of all it's conveniently located right near the train station and other attractions within walking distance. The staff helped us out immediately and we're so kind,The lobby is immaculate and so well kept and quiet. The pricing was far more fair than I anticipated it to be. The room was gorgeous I was particularly fond of the shower and how comfortable the bed was as well as the view from my window. There is a pub on the first floor that I unfortunately did not get to enjoy but will definitely go back and enjoy next time because it looked like so much fun. There is a laundry room that was stocked with what I needed and complimentary which was so helpful for me because being stuck unexpectedly I didn't have change of clothes with me so I had to quickly purchase something and being able to wash what I brought was great. The only downside to the stay was there are many homeless people right outside the hotel begging for money and just harassing people. Now that should not affect the hotel as it is not their fault and they do lock the doors after 10pm which made us feel safer.Despite that one thing I will stay there again and look forward to our next trip there. Thank you so much to all the kind staff for making us being stuck there easier."
