"That staff at my most recent visit (Feb 1, 2024) were so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Same has been true for a number of other stays here over the years. It’s an easy walk from two metro stations, the White House, and many other businesses and government offices. Reasonably priced rooms that are clean and spacious. Highly recommended."

"Had a disappointing stay. After a day of sightseeing, we returned to find dirty, unmade sheets in our room. When my wife contacted the staff, they suggested she remake the bed with clean sheets. A staff member admitted our initial room wasn't guest-ready. After addressing the issue, we were moved to another room, but it had a poorly arranged mattress pad. The next day, apologies were empty, and blame was shifted among staff. Don't rely on online photos; the place was unclean, and the night staff seemed understaffed and incompetent. On a positive note, the engineer who assisted us was professional. Management needs significant training, and the place is pricier and not as good as nearby hotels."

"The hotel itself was decent and wonderfully located (just 2 blocks from the White House); unfortunately there wasn't convenient parking available, forcing visitors to valet park ($54/day). The room(s) were ok but alley-facing, not scenic in any capacity; unfortunately by night #2 of my 3-night stay, I had to have them move me to another room... 3 service calls for unit repair couldn't get the heater working properly. The saving grace was most of the staff were very friendly and professional!"

"A relatively affordable hotel from a reputable chain in a good location. + Breakfast is included. + The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the shower has nice water pressure. + Good location, 5 minutes walk from Metro station and 10 minutes walk from the White House. - Other amenities are weak: no slippers, no bottled water, no water kettle, chrome cast didn't work."

"This is a small quaint hotel, and I loved that aspect. Right around the corner from 5he White House, drugstore right across the street, and a few restaurants within walking distance. The location is ideal. The continental breakfast was okay. I wish hotels would shampoo their carpet more often. Overall, it was nice, everyone was great and I would stay again."
