Navy Lodge Annapolis

"This was our second stay at the Navy Lodge. Since our first visit there have been numerous renovations and...what an improvement. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff and service representatives are courteous and professional. The lodge is a stones throw from the NEX and Commissary. Directly across from the USNA made it convenient for touring around the Academy grounds while watching the young Midshipmen walking between classes. Our primary visit was to visit parents interred at the Columbarium. A beautiful and quiet area of Annapolis. Great accolades to the folks at the Lodge for making our stay a great memory!"

"The price point made this an obvious winner for me, when compared against staying in downtown Annapolis. Lots of parking, close to the NEX, and modern, well-kept rooms. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I had thought about walking into town until they cautioned me about the lack of sidewalks and pedestrian access on the roads. That being said, you will need to drive, Uber, or bus from the Navy Lodge to safely get to downtown. They have several garages and also street parking is available for free (times vary)."

"Made an error on changing a reservation and they refused to refund the one night. Nice people but try giving the benefit of the doubt to customers. We make mistakes as you do. Made a change from one month to the next due to class date changes but apparently didn't do it right in their system so was charged $100 even though I was coming to stay the next month. In this case I just canceled altogether. Mario was very nice and so was Danita, the GM but be aware not everyone is as good at working on "your system". They aren't always intuitive."

"Not into this place. Had no choice. Wanted a hotel outside base. They serve a pathetic breakfast. Green bananas, cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee. That's it. The carpeting stinks. When you walk out of hotel room the smell overwhelms you. TV in the room... Well don't even work right. Freezes up, locks up, goes blank. Asked front desk to look into it, but with post COVID scheduling, just forget about it. Asked twice. They don't care. Can't watch anything. WiFi is slow. Don't even bother. 20 minutes from everything. Just not happy with this place. Room is either too cold or too hot. Always adjusting temp. The only good thing is that is four minutes from my job... That's it...."
