Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Rosslyn

"Third bad Mariott brand experience in a row. It makes me question why I am loyal to Mariott. Let me sum up this hotel with one word: Cheap Here is just a sample of some of the things deeply wrong in this hotel: -we had a newly renovated room. What a joke - doors (including the bathroom) won't close. Cabinets gross. -I was here for three days and the entire three days there wasn't soap in the lobby bathroom. When I complained they only filled one sink area with soap. Cheap cheap cheap - they don't have housekeeping. To get sheets pillows towels I was instructed it is my responsibility to go get them from the front desk like I was on a camping trip. -service wasn't good in general. No one was friendly -coffee was absolutely watered down and not refilled during breakfast. Probably to be cheap just like the soap. -gym was also kind of gross. Don't count on getting a workout in. - also pull out bed not great. -parking extremely expensive. I park cheaper in Manhattan. We're in Virginia lol. On a positive note, the lamps in the room were nice. However I don't make decisions on where I stay based on lamps. Overall - don't stay here. Update: As I sit here the staff comes over and closes breakfast at 957. God forbid they stayed open for the three more mins."

"We had a room on the 4th floor for 2. I slept on the sofa that turned into a bed, which will do for me. The gym was rather small; glad no one else was there because it would've gotten cramped real quick. There was free breakfast, but we were too busy to make it. Instead, I kept coming back for the water with lemon inside. The inn's also a decent distance from Target as well as restaurants. If you did want to explore, I'd recommend using Uber or anything, BUT drive. There is garage parking for the inn, which is $28 daily parking with in/out privileges. If you happen to lose your parking pass, call them and they can buzz you out, so you don't miss your flight!"

"First of all. The front desk!!!! What a servicing welcoming staff. They offered refreshments, wine, beer, water. Room clean and cozy. Was handy to have washer/dryer since we just traveled with a backpack each. FULL buffet breakfast delicious and with multiple options. Location!!! 5 to 8 min walking to Rosslyn station, which is 6 stops away from Smithsonian station where the mall is. Definitely would go back. Realized didn't take pictures inside, but that was the view. Restaurants near walking distance and a Target too. Reminded me my home town."

"the rooms was great, kinda old but spacious. every room has kitchen set, dishwasher, iron board, and fridge! i stay for 8nights here and really like it. they have guest laundry in several floors. the breakfast was okay, for 8nights stayer i found the breakfast is different everyday. this hotel close to metro train station, target, starbucks, and metro bus."
