"BE WARNED, if you're staying here because the location to fedex field , DONT. There is no walking path to the field so you have to walk the entire 2 miles around to the field. The staff was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience when I showed up and asked about if there happened to be any rooms ready for check in . There are no restaurants in walking distance unless you wanna take the 1 mile walk around to Longhorn. I came in when check in time and the front desk staff wasn't very welcoming at all. I didn't like the vibe so I just left and didn't even bother staying overnight. I also read from other reviews that cars have been broken into and stolen from this location so be warned"
"I will definitely stay here again, but let me tell you why. 1. CLEANLINESS. The rooms are clean! The housekeeping staff is on it, kind, responsive and accommodating. 2. SERVICE. I had to check in Christmas Eve due to an emergency. It was unplanned? Sudden and I had my senior mom and teen child with me so it was stressful too. ALISHA at the front desk was so sweet and warm. Even though we just survived a scary experience, she calmed my nerves and made us all feel better. She also went above and beyond to console my daughter who was having a really tough time when we checked out. CLYDE the manager was also welcoming and seemed to always be working or helping his staff with something. TREY was nice on the phone and took great care of us. FLOYD was busy doing maintenance or something and still paused to have a conversation with us. There was also a housekeeper from some Carribbean island that I can't remember. She was SO KIND too! She went and found a specific cookware I needed to make Christmas dinner happen for us despite the situation we just experienced being displaced from the house. 3. AMENITIES. Everything is as described. Even the other guests were nice and friendly 4. ROOMS. The room was clean and the hotel is well kept but not brand spanking new. So my bathroom didn't have a hook on door and one of the shelves leaned just a bit. 5. BATHROOM. The shower heads felt amazing and the water pressure was lovely! THE BAD PART WAS... CAMESHA. She should not be working there. She is not reflective of the Marriott brand, the standard for that specific hotel or hospitality on general. She was rude on the phone (all she said was "Front Desk") and then she was more rude in person. She also refused to tell me her name. She was so unwelcoming, not helpful. I went downstairs ready to spread some cheer and make her day, but she ruined that. And on Christmas too! But don't worry? The rest of the staff picked up her slack."
"We always love staying at Residence Inn hotels because the rooms are so nice. This one was no different. Clean, comfortable, and perfect for those who like to prepare their own meals. Our room had a full refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. You're basically staying in an apartment when you come here. The hot breakfast here is pretty good with several options. They have an indoor pool and a nice half basketball court. The fire pit outside is also nice but doesn't let off much heat. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member, and the customer service treatment I received was very good. We would gladly stay here again in the future!"
"Clean rooms, good self serve buffet breakfast. Great breakfast wait staff who went off property to get ice for my thermos since their ice machine was broken. Security at night in the parking lot was reassuring. Conveniently located near major highways, hospital, shopping and restaurants."
"Very unfriendly, unresponsive management. Interested in accommodations comfortable for a surgical proceedure for a family member..the first thing said was "We can't help or offer you anything" ok..I didn't need any favors just a bit of understanding ensuring we had an appropriately comfortable room for 3 a week stay. Thank goodness the Hilton in alexandria was more accommodating."
