"The excessive noise generated by the hotel heater severely disrupted the ability to achieve a restful night’s sleep. Regrettably, considering the associated inconveniences, the overall value of the accommodation does not align with its price. Nonetheless, it is important to acknowledge the positive aspect of its advantageous location."

"We did arrive early morning, but had negative interactions with all staff members at some point during our stay. Their moods seemed to be dependent on the time of day. The hotel had very thin blankets and the thermostat was not working properly. It was either extremely hot or extremely cold during our stay. The elevator system was terrible and I often shared frustration with other guests attempting to scan a card and have it put away before the elevator tried to close on you. The breakfast costed extra but had stipulations that you had to eat the buffet IN THE RESTAURANT (during a time when Covid 19 cases are soaring) or wait extended periods outside of the restaurant to order off the menu. The food was not worth waiting for and one of the days I opted to just pay again for better food elsewhere. When we asked for wash cloths we only received hand towels. There was no microwave in the room. There was also no brochure or info for any surrounding activities/businesses. We were shocked to find a lot of the TV channels skipped or didn't work at all. NO PLAYOFF GAMES ON AIR. We loved being by Starbucks and The Capitol"

"This hotel was in a great location. The room was large. We used the pull out sofa and a roll away bed and still had room to move around. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was dated, but functioned. The bathroom left quite a bit to be desired. The shower head was falling apart and the shower curtain didn’t prevent water from getting on the floor."

"The rooms were a bit dirty. We had to ask for new sheets because they had recent looking stains and smelled. The breakfast bar is extremely overpriced. $20 per person for old and disgusting food. It tasted and looked like each day whatever wasn’t eaten was kept then reheated for multiple days. For $20 a person they make enough to make fresh food every day. The only saving grace would be how friendly everyone is. But the friendliness isn’t enough to make us ever come back. I would never return. But if you are looking for a hotel within walking distance of a lot of things, you’d appreciate that about this hotel."

The on-site dining offered a diverse and delicious menu. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in the heart of DC."
