"A month after a GelX removal at Princeton Nails my nails are still in daily pain. In early June I asked for a GelX removal and regular gel polish. My manicurist (I think her name was Kim) seemed rushed for time. When she started using the drill to remove the GelX I was in pain almost immediately. The drill was staying in one place too long, getting hot, and creating dents in my natural nail. I told her I was hurting but her technique did not change. I left the salon with throbbing nails and uneven nail lengths/shapes. My nails are breaking past the quick; I’ve had to super glue them together to prevent bleeding. So much of my natural nail was filed down that it still hurts to type. The picture shows a month of growth next to the damage, some nails are worse than others."
