"Got a gel manicure. Price was $42, which wasn’t listed on their website. My cuticles weren’t soaked or softened before the tech pushed them back/trimmed them and this felt rough and a bit uncomfortable. She was reusing foam nail files/buffers, which isn’t that hygienic. I’m quite sure those are supposed to be single use to prevent nail infections for customers. I seem to have a lot more hangnails now than I did before this service. My nails weren’t filed evenly to begin with, and I had to request that this get fixed. I was not a big fan of her using an electric buffer to rough up my nails, and I fear my nails will be thin and weak when I get the gel removed because of this. The gel itself looks fine, but I probably won’t come back. The location is convenient and there aren’t many other nail options in town, and I think they have become complacent in terms of service/quality because of this."
