"This hotel is by far my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect for a night out and the staff are amazing and friendly. Some friends and myself had a junior suite. The rooms were clean and spacious, pillows were soft and fresh and clean. The little snack/essential area was also reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone looking to stay in town."

"Spent NYE at The Gettysburg Hotel and had an absolutely lovely time. Highly recommend this hotel! Will def be back this summer. Our room was very clean, beautifully appointed and quite large—— with a super comfy bed. Large walk-in shower with powerful shower head & nice, hot water. The historic hotel is absolutely beautiful and was decorated to the nines for Christmas. We found a cozy spot by the fire, listened to live music, and enjoyed a cocktail before heading out to Lincoln Square for the activities. Perfect location to all the cool shops, restaurants, and the parking garage."

"Honestly highly disappointed. Spent a few hundred dollars to attend a ball and after 2 drinks in 3 hours the bartenders cut us off without reason. We are both sober and staying in the hotel. I am typing this immediately after asking to get served. No reason was given at all. This is honestly unacceptable. Update: Talked to the manager and he says oh my professional bartenders know best (once again no reason given). These “professional” bartenders took 5 minutes to make one mixed drink and were completely unsuited for a professional event first off. Second, I am having a sober coherent conversation with you right now, so I don’t understand how you as a manager can deny evidence. We would have never stayed at the hotel if we knew we weren’t going to be able to have fun at the event. I will be speaking to my legal advisor tonight honestly because this situation was really messed up. I bartended in undergrad so I understand drawing a line with drunk people, but this was just a decision that they did not like us for some unknown reason and didn’t want to serve us. The only thing I can think of is that my coworker is hearing impaired so she talks loud naturally and English isn’t her first language so maybe she sounds drunk, nonetheless a discussion should have been had because now you have denied us service because of a person’s hearing impairment."

"Great location! The hotel is at the very center of town with fun shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable from the lobbies (bar/Starbucks) to the rooms. Parking was extra but safe and very easily accessible. We thought about cheaper motels outside of the town center and are glad we chose to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel instead. I also need to compliment the staff. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning and the staff was friendly and waiting for us!"

"It was the perfect stay for me. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hotel has what looks like a nice restaurant (I missed breakfast by 4 minutes so didn't actually eat there). Hotel staff was very friendly. The location is central. Lobby is beautiful and a great place to hang out. Recommend!"
