"Wanted to stay in center of Gettysburg and the 1863 Inn Of Gettysburg is about as good as it gets. Large rooms, many shops, restaurants, and drinking places nearby. Of course there is a bit of history too. Nice staff, easy to find, good breakfast, and only a small fee for Jack. Will return for longer stay."
"Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. Nice hotel. Front desk girl was not friendly at all tho. Not even the hint of a smile. Also there was a long brown hair in the tub when we 1st got to the room....definitely NOT mine. Yuck. I think I would stay here again but next time I will mention the gross hair IF I see that again."
"Staff is very friendly the lobby is very clean and and you can tell the staff takes pride in there work to make the guest feel relaxed and comfortable with there stay at the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding in the morning and the rooms were very clean and comfortable...also the hotel is pet friendly. We definitely will be saying here again...keep up the great work"
"Not new to the Gettysburg area but it makes for a great little overnight getaway. First time staying at the 1863 Inn and will definitely be returning! Perfect location in town, rooms and common areas clean, amazing breakfast!! Friendliest staff I have ever dealt with in a hotel."
"I can't say enough GREAT THINGS about this place. It is within walking distance to EVERYTHING. The staff was very welcoming. This entire hotel was spotless clean. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculate! The housekeeping staff joke with us every morning. We had the free breakfast every morning we were there. The food was fresh, hot and there was plenty of it. Best coffee ever. When we go back to Gettysburg we will always stay here."
