"I'm not a farm person but I really appreciated this beautiful place. The owner did a great job at making a farm experience unique and nice. Plus the owner was super cool and a great cook!"
"Very disappointing stay. The owner did not prepare the property for our arrival over the weekend. We found the house in absolute disaray with turkeys roaming in the dining room, walking and pooping all over the floor and table! The charming backyard was filled with dog and bird poop to the point that one could not easily walk around without stepping into something. The dogs were likely parched and hungry since all of their water was green and filled with dirt. They were also eating a bird that they caught only a few minutes before our arrival. The dogs also lounged on top of the backyard table, which was all chewed up and scratched up. The grills were unuseable since the turkeys used them as their perch and pooped all over. I won't even begin to describe the stench. It is clear that this farm has falled into deep disrepair and the owner no longer cares for it. The price to stay here competes with local hotels, on the promise of a charming stay in a country cottage, sadly, that could not be further from the truth. Our party had to do so much cleaning that we should have been paid. One of our friends left after one night. Don't believe the website, the reality does not match what it sells."
"John, our host, was wonderful. What an awesome experience. Picturesque, operating farm with numerous friendly animals. Met many lovely people sitting around the wood stove, on the porch, or at the two impromptu meals we shared with our host and other guests. My wife and I highly recommend it, and will go back. You must like animals :)"
"I was here but for business purposes. So i did not stay over night. However, it looks like a really cool place. John and Nate were very pleasant and obliging for my purpose there evan though they had guests and were busy. Again, i didn't stay, but based just on their cooperation with me, i would definately recommend a visit to stay in a rustic old house and experience some time on a very lively farm."
