Reviews of Carter's
"I have 4 children that I have always shopped for at Carters. After my interaction with Carrie at this location I will no longer be shopping at any Carters location and am more than happy to take my business elsewhere. She interrupted me and held her hand in my face while I’m was trying to explain that my return was well within the 90 day return period (which she embarrassingly later realized after checking my receipt). I could have gotten past that however when she seemed annoyed by my crying infant, I had enough. Extremely disappointed in the poor customer service here. Your job is simple Carrie. Punch some numbers in the cash register and keep it moving. You don’t need to run your mouth so much."
"I Bought a piece of clothing for my kid from the carters store. As it says on the clothes that wash before wear. As soon as I washed it, it got shrunk. We didn’t even wore it once. I took it back to store to see at least I can exchange it. Because there can be a defective clothes or material that I understand. But store associates simply said if it’s washed we can’t return or exchange. I called customer service to see if I have any option but they were so mean too. Never shopping at carters again."
"Super sales were on and allowed me to buy more. I also opened a credit account, and they offered additional percentage off for that. I love the quality of their products and the coordination of colors in them. They are durable enough to last through multiple active children. They make the very best hand me downs!"
"I showed up 5 minutes before the store closed and the doors were locked. I understand wanting to close on time but locking the doors early isn’t acceptable. I knocked since I saw two employees in the store. It is 2/22/22 and there is very high wind outside so I struggled to communicate and kept putting my ear to the small gap between the doors. I could tell they did not want to let me in but they did. I quickly looked at some shoes and then the clearance area as Betty was insistent I only had a couple minutes. I was asked “do you have everything you need?” after maybe 60 seconds of being let inside. I asked the cashier if they normally close the store early and she said that they locked the doors 3 minutes early. I said that is not true because I was there 5 minutes early. She said according to the store clock it was as she walked to the side register to attempt to look at the computer. I showed her my phone (time set automatically) and it said 6:59. I showed her the credit card machine that was installed in their store and it said 6:59 and she told me I had to get away from the counter. I asked if she could simply acknowledge she made a mistake and she wouldn’t reply. Note to management: review the security footage and check the time. Educate Betty on when the store closes and how to see tell what time it is. I do not believe the “store clock” is wrong, I think she was just caught in a lie. An apology or something would have avoided this negative review. P.S. Claudia let me out and she was nice. She didn’t throw her manager (I presume) under the bus but she was at least apologetic."
"Worse shopping experience ever! It took me 45 minutes to return 6 items and reorder 2.In the end I was given a store credit although I specifically told I didn't want any store credit - I want a return to my credit card, and I was allowed a refund to my credit card by Carters rules! I am very very disappointed, I will never visit again! They think people don't have other staff to do other than waiting and checking the mistakes of their stuff!"
