Children's National Pediatricians & Associates Fort Davis

"I have been coming here for the last 3/4 yrs and since it has always been short staffed. However my children were seen by the now retired Dr. Wirt who we miss a lot.! Dr. Jones have been a joy taking over for him however the customer service on the front part sucks! I am placed on hold for long periods of times when calling. When I arrive early I am still late being seen for my children's apt there is not way showing up a entire hour early and 20 mins late to be seen by her doctor!!! if I was late they would have been cancelling or rescheduling my appointment. The scheduling is truly my biggest issue here. the front officer need to do better with time management, other than these concerns I have nothing bad to say."

"When I first started taking my son to the Fort Davis location it was good, had no problems but today at the location is was terrible! From check in to waiting to be seen (left after some little dispute started in the office with a parent and receptionist and an IT guy who had a bad attitude at the front) My son appointment was at 11am, got there but it took a while to finally talk to the receptionist (who is a older lady) because she was having a regular conversation as if she was not at work with a guy who was in front of me. There were several parents who told the receptionist that their appointment times were earlier than mine and have been waiting for 1 to 2 hours and all she could say was there is only two doctors, which is always the case so that didn't make sense. There were at least 4 parents in front of me who have been waiting for the kids to be seen which is ridiculous! The receptionist stated out her own mouth that the doctors and nurses were in the back standing around, talking and laughing, this statement was confirmed after a family came from the back ( who was called to the back 30 minutes before that) and said that they were leaving due to being put in a room and no nurse or doctor ever coming in to talk to them. That is ridiculous and sad! There were nurse that kept walking in and out of the office like she didn't have a job to do. Several parents started to ask why the wait time was so long and the receptionist was so nonchalant and answered, "that's just how it goes." Somebody should evaluate this location because there should be no reason that this so called professionals are basically playing with people children's health. We make appointments to check on our children's health condition and that just felt like a slap in the face and that they do not care about these children's health! I will be finding another location because the Fort Davis one in my opinion has became very unprofessional and I will not be going back with my child after this situation!"

"Just switched insurance providers and I didnt know what to expect from this doctor or the office.....Im so happy I made this choice. The doctor was attentative, she answered every question, gave advice and made sure I was abreast of any updates or information I should know about. she was kind and patient and gentle with my child. she actually took time to look over my childs records and came with feedback. the service was great, it was clean in the office and professional. I would definitely recommend this location. they get you in and out."

"I have four children, and two grandchildren. From my children to my grandchildren who all have been seeing Dr. Wirt and associates never waited to long always was comfortable leaving with the results that was giving to me from any sick visit or routine check up. Keep in mind my oldest is 26 now and my youngest is 14. I love it here!!"

"My kid has been a patient of Dr. Wirt’s since pre-K. We followed him to the Fort Davis location. He’s a great, patient doctor who makes my kid feel comfortable and takes time to ask questions and listen to concerns. We had a wonderful experience with the nurse as well; she put my kid at ease about getting multiple shots. We didn’t wait longer than at any other doctor’s office."
