"I had a pedicure with Alondra. She was so detailed with it. She made sure my feet were baby-soft before I left. She noticed I was prone to ingrown nails and checked every nail to take care of it. The environment is so friendly and pink. You will not regret going to Metzli."

"I had a basic gel pedicure on Monday, October 16th. The nail esthetician barely cut/filed my toenails and didn’t do any cuticle/skin maintenance. It was supposed to be a 60 minute pedicure; it was at most 45 minutes. The next morning, my big toes were smudged (something that isn’t supposed to be able to happen with gel polish). Later that day the polish on both big toes had worn away completely in the center, a little bit smaller than the size of a dime. I have pictures with time stamps on them if there is somewhere to attach. I called the salon asking for a refund because I could not come back in for them to redo the pedicure (I’m not from this area). They reluctantly gave me back the deposit but wouldn’t give me a full refund. Overall very disappointed in the nail service and customer service received. I would not come back here again and do not recommend this place. I would rate 0/5 stars if possible. In response to the response from the owner of Metzli Nail Bar & Spa: Each time I called, my call was consistent with the review I left on Google. Your implication that I am lying is poor public relations, poor customer service. I wanted a refund because I received poor service and I could not come back in. I was in the area temporarily for work, but I do not live there—just because someone is somewhere once does not mean it’s a feasible or realistic assumption that they can be in that place again. Esthetician and technician can be interchangeable terms; your passive aggressive capitalization didn’t go unnoticed. I did not ask for my toenails to not be cut. You must have greatly misunderstood. I barely spoke at all during the pedicure. You and your technician did, in Spanish, which is a potential reason for miscommunication. You cannot tell from the pictures if they needed cut or not. They did. I left a good tip because I tip based on percentage, regardless of service, because such is customary in this country. Your response does not demonstrate good customer service or professionalism. Readers of these reviews will notice."

"Let me start off by saying i had a full set done here and it was beautiful but one mail came off a few days later and i tried to get it fixed i got an appointment but was told the technician left for the day emergently. No one contacted me or offered another appointment cause they didn’t know when that nail tech will be back. I had to request if someone else can do it (it was not offered) i feel like they should have first notified me she was leaving emergently and also offered someone else. I’ll never go back. Don’t waste your money cause products are cheap for my nail to come off in a couple of days!"

"Nice, calm vibe in the salon. Mel did a great job on my Disney inspired nails for my upcoming trip. I brought a picture of what I wanted it and she recreated them precisely!!"

"First off let me say the vibe of the salon is amazing! Pink everywhere, it’s beautiful. I had a full set done by Alondra and she was very focused on making sure she really did a quality job. I really appreciated her attention to detail and amazing nail art. I’ll definitely be back! I can’t wait to try the jelly pedicure."
