"Mexican? Don’t think so. To be honest for the price and for the quality, it’s not that good. It’s nostalgic since this is the last Baja Fresh in the “DMV” area or that is accesible within the city. There used to be many more of these places. As for the food… I got a chicken fajita. It wasn’t that good if we’re being honest. It comes with three flour tortillas (or corn), some tortilla chips (nachos) and grilled chicken, veggies, Baja rice and black beans (or pinto). The taste of the chicken was bland… it had an overwhelming taste of burnt charcoal or grill marks, and the rice tasted really bland with no flavor to it. The guacamole was meh, tasted like Safeway grocery store guac and the beans had a funky smell. The veggies were alright, not good but not terrible. Tortillas were soggy and got cold quick, taste like Mission tortillas. That doesn’t sound Mexican to me. Even California Tortilla does this better. Atmosphere feels straight out of 2005. It’s nostalgic for a reason but you can tell they’re trying to spend the least they can on the store in case they close any day now. It’s not full at all, you could bring a large group and have enough space still. Would I come back? Depends. Maybe to try something else out, but for $12.99 a chicken fajita left me disappointed. I should have gone to Chipotle or Qdoba instead, even California Tortilla."
"Food and service was definitely sub-par. If you enjoy bland, flavorless food, Baja Fresh is the place for you. I ordered food for a catered event for a large group. The food was delivered late, cold, missing the dessert, no utensils, and expensive. The food is just not good. Will not order again."
"Tasty Mexican fare with generous portions for the price—yummy burritos, quesadillas, queso & chips, guacamole, etc. All menu items prepared fresh to order. Stanley also provided friendly, outstanding service."
"Truly amazing and delicious, very flavorful food, you really have got to try this! Try what? Anything on the menu!"
"We enjoyed our lunch at this cafe, we had Chicken Quesedella and Chicken Fajitas and they were both good. Service (self) was smooth too. Plenty of seats to sit inside or take away available option. Overall—good value food that fills your apetite. Things to improve: Drinks options, smoothies/lemonade etc. See you again!"
