"Do not recommend Dr. Feldman, unless you're looking for absurd conversation and have some perverse desire to waste your time. The doctor talked in circles and made no sense. My teen daughter and I were looking at each other like, "What the..." Doctor freely admits she makes diagnoses without knowing what the criteria are (what is she supposed to do? Look it up?) Insists it's really all complicated and subjective. When I asked, “Wait, what's subjective, the symptoms or the diagnosis?” she replied, “Both.” Ah, medicine… no one ever really knows anything, do they? Dr. Feldman told us she often has no idea what's going on her with patients. She told my daughter repeatedly that she was probably dyslexic, even though that's been ruled out and my daughter had just failed a near-point convergence test, which would cause the exact symptoms she is experiencing (words moving on the page and double vision). Dr. Feldman feels that in my daughter's case, her symptoms are a coincidence and said there's nothing wrong with her eyes. This most recent appointment was months after our original appointment, when Dr. Feldman didn't think to test my daughter's convergence until after her pupils were already dilated. I had described my daughter's symptoms in detail, but Dr. Feldman insisted, no, that's not something an eye doctor could help with and suggested my daughter had a learning disability or needed to see a mental health professional. When I pressed her, she said, "Well, it COULD be convergence, but I doubt it..." I should have known better than to have returned. The optometrists were great and provided us with exercises, but Dr. Feldman completely under cut them and said the exercises would most likely not work. WHY would you said that to a teen who is probably not going to be motivated to do the exercises in the first place? Doctor, heal thyself."
"Don't waste your time or money here. The exam is less than 5 minutes. Not thorough or accurate exam! Tech lied that she did an exam when all she did was put drops. Go else where."
"I had an issue through a misunderstanding that needed to be resolved. I didn’t know who to turn to. I spoke with Nicole, who took the time to listen and help me reach the right people. Nicole exemplifies that even though things may not work out perfectly, how we face our problems and how we respond, makes the difference between success and the alternative. I would also like to say thank you to Nika who partnered in the excellence of client service!"
"I had no issue with the physician it was the scheduling staff that was the problem. I made an appointment came on time only to find they scheduled it at Sinai hospital. Before that I made an appointment for my son, got there and they were closed. I called and was told the appointment was up the hall from were I normally go, no one bothered to tell me."
