"Over the years have enjoyed great finds. Had found a fine, plush plus size coat, and much other apparel, for a special somebody who had substantial trouble fitting. Most articles from here were hardly, if ever, used or worn at a fraction of the original retail pricing. Returns are only on electric items or clothing yet you will not get a refund but a conditional credit. Most recently bought vintage sport jackets, slacks, hats, T-Shirts, Tommy Hilfiger boots, a Walkman, corporate-type dress shirts, smaller flat screen tv (without remote), kitchen items, a large 'spinner' roller suitcase - which would've been way more expensive at Boscov's, for example. Plenty of holiday-based ornaments. Throughout the store, look for 2 specific color tags for worthwhile substantial markdowns over 50 % on one color, 70 % on the other color. I've given unworn clothing and accessories here. Need to bring your own bag, maybe buy a smaller one here for a $ 1.99 donation. Definitely check out their loyalty program. Being Central NY based, that they should have what you and yours need, it may well be better than a more difficult sojourn elsewhere. There is an abundance of parking."

"I’m so grateful that Thrifty Shopper is a store where you can shop unusual and unique items & you can donate your own gently used items too! I’ve shopped here since Day #1 and I’ve never been disappointed with anything regarding Thrifty Shopper. They have great staff. Everyone is pleasant, helpful and nice. Staff all seem to enjoy working there and with each other. It My only suggestion would be an area where they can have bigger pieces of furniture."

"I have been shopping, at thrifty shopper, upper front st. location Since it’s opening. I find the staff are pleasant, the environment clean and prices still somewhat reasonable. I continue to shop there for two reasons. First, and foremost, because I have been told that a percentage of the proceeds go to the men’s shelter in Whitney Point NY, is that true? Secondly, because I come from humble beginnings, and don’t require new. My concern is this, as previously said, the prices are reasonable and all must understand Cost increase. However, please share how those in our community, that are truly in need, can continue to afford the continual increase in used merchandise. Someone at one time had the right idea, serving the need and helping others along the way. And then, I have to ask myself, is this still a mission? Please respond, as I’m saying, what many are thinking, but dare not ask. Have a blessed day!"

"This store had a lot of interesting items. I felt that some items was priced a little to high for the condition they were in. But that was my option. The store itself was a little over crowded. Some aisels where a little difficult to get thorough especially if you had a cart. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. So overall it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely go back when in the area."
