"I had done physical therapy before on my shoulder, but was left feeling like a number at the end of the day. Susan and the team at Nova Rehab really treated me like a whole person. In August 2023, I started rehabbing my knee, which experienced an BJJ injury three months earlier, I was also a month pregnant. As the months went on, Susan managed to modify my exercises to meet my needs and my growing belly. She also is a wealth of knowledge--even more so than my orthopedic at times--when it came to learning what the problem was with my knee (a subluxation on my patella tendon) and how I could improve my situation over time. I left physical therapy today feeling a million times better, and with the knowledge I need now to take care of my knees in the future.
