"Everyone I encountered was professional, polite, engaging and most of all, very knowledgeable. The PAs, Liz and Chastity are wonderful in all respects!"
"All of the medical staff provided outstanding support and responded to all my questions. I was also provided with excellent take home instructions to further heal my foot. No one rushed me and I felt well cared for."
"Staff was great. However the was some confusion on the appointment time. They had me down for the afternoon but I had two confirmations of morning appointment."
"I’m writing this because the directors, resident doctors and nurses still have NEVER acknowledged my grandmothers questions and concerns regarding the death of my grandfather that occurred as a direct result of their lack of knowledge , irresponsibility, negligence and malpractice. Director Marion Jordan has since past away, but Doctor Jaskille, Dr. Jeng, Dr. Lin, Dr. Schwartz and a few others should come with a warning label. Janice perry, senior pharmacologist who reviewed the details of this incident stated “had Leonard Fanelli not been admitted to this hospital, he would be alive today.”…2003 my grandparents were admitted here after a house fire. My grandmother was in critical condition, (however she survived) whereas my grandfather WALKED into the burn unit, coherent, talking , reiterating events to the fire Marshall, yet, after a wellness check which concluded all vitals were normal, he was admitted ONLY because he displayed agitation. Despite any consideration that he’d just been in the most traumatic situation, they loaded him with anti psychotic medication and pain medication, put on a ventilator , laying prone in sedation for days, no “drug holidays” given, they lied in his report stating he had 90% second and 3rd degree burns when in actuality it was 9%…. Over the course of the next 4 days they continued to order more drugs which should never have been mixed or even given to a 74 year old man at the dosages they were giving him. He coded on day 4 and there was no extra monitoring or any common sense regarding medication and lethal combinations they had been putting together, they continued. On the 5th day, at 10am, Dr. AMIN JASKILLE ordered that fentanyl be administered, put in a request for Dr. Jeng to take over, and 2 hours later my grandfather died. (Interesting that Dr. Jaskille now lives and works in Puerto Rico … Over the last 20 my family has been ignored, brushed off and their only concern was whether they were going to be sued or not. While some of these doctors have moved on, some are still working in the hospital. I can’t explain the actions of the doctors or decisions made but it’s as if my grandfather was like a god damn test subject OR the doctors are truely mentally challenged and should’ve never been allowed the positions they’ve held. As a team, they destroyed the only thing my grandmother had left from that night! They destroyed our family, and they’ve just continued on with no accountability. I’m glad to see they haven’t killed anyone else, that’s good, but I’ll never forget what they took from us and how cowardly they became when all we wanted was an apology at the least, no money. Be aware doctors are just people at the end of the day, they don’t know everything. Ask questions, it’s ok to doubt them, it’s ok to go up against them. Protect yourselves and speak for those who can’t!"
"The ICU great people. The front desk people in the hospital itself from any door you walked into and iespecially the main entrance- awful and it was a circus with clowns running it. .no empathy no compassion i lost my mother in that hospital in the icu from burns. the hostpial needs train front desk employees and make sure they are aware and have sense to greet people because 9 out of 10 times people come there with pain anxiety and fear to see their loved one.. be nice and have compassion to those people done chew gum and play with your hair and dance to the beats in ur head while someone is trying to go to the icu and to see their loved one who may not have time on this earth!!!"
