"I have been having issues at every Concentra I’ve gone to lately. My company requires regular blood testing for a pcb exposure from over 2 years ago. They have an account with Concentra. Every time, it takes them a long time to figure out what to do, then they mess it up somehow and call asking me to come back to give more blood. It is a big inconvenience to leave work to lose over 2 hours of scale pay for nothing again and again. Your businesses have cost me over $500 in lost wages not accomplishing the pcb level tracking blood test. Someone there needs to get accurate and clear instructions and print them for me to bring with next time to aid in their knowing what to do… it’s bad enough that I have this in me damaging my dna and trying to cause cancer anywhere, and my doctors don’t bat an eye to do anything about it at all. (That’s Kaiser btw) I hate the medical industry and it’s greedy methods of not curing things. I hate humanity for polluting the Earth and taking no responsibility to do anything about the cancer and genetic degradation it has been causing in all manner of life for over 50 years!!! And the way we are kept in the dark about it being in the soil, in the air, in our foods… how it absorbs through the skin, passes into and through all parts of the body. And some how no one really knows much about it or cares enough or will be held accountable for telling us it’s nothing to worry about. Or to put warning signs up around known spill areas in their Government funded facility! And lo and behold, nothing can prove definitively where it came from because it’s everywhere and everyone has it in their body! I’m sorry that my anger and frustration spills over into my bad experience in medicine as a whole, shading this review. But the fact is, it shouldn’t be this hard to know how to handle a special blood sample or how much to draw, or how to inform people of deadlines when the test should be performed (before pick up of samples because it gets sent out to third party) They call asking me to come back any time! At this point you should just pay Quest for me to go there directly to get blood drawn… it’s probably cheaper that way but my HR manager doesn’t see how to do it… I gave 2 stars only because the staff is kind, and the people drawing blood are good at it. And there’s not going to be any better experiences elsewhere except places that actually know about and do the mass spectrometer testing of the blood… please prove me wrong. I have to keep going to concentric because that’s where work sends me. If you make this right so it stops happening, I’ll delete my review. Make sure ALL Concentras have easy to find, readily accessible clear instructions for exactly how to handle a pcb blood test. Soon you may see a lot more people wondering about their levels. I won’t let this go. My life is ruined. I can’t have anymore children. I can’t commit to a long term relationship. I have to prepare for dying in likely less than 10 years. And likely being unable to work sooner than that. I’m already dealing with autoimmune problems causing RA symptoms in my spine, hips, neck, shoulders, feet… I was way too health conscious and worked too hard at good nutrition and purity of body for most of my life to have Maryland State steal my future from me out of pure ignorant negligence. Steal my son’s father from him. Ruin my reputation of career success. Please stop wasting my precious time. I have so little left to give. And I am vital on the job. It hurts my whole company for me to leave for 2+ hours. If you do not fix this problem soon, I will have to petition the owners of my company to let me go somewhere else from now on."

"I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Concentra. I arrived and waited for almost an hour before being seen. What made this even worse was that I witnessed several people who came in after me being seen before me. To add insult to injury, I have a medical condition that required urgent attention, and I had been holding my urine for 45 minutes while watching others receive care who arrived after me. It was only when I finally mentioned my situation to the staff that they seemed to acknowledge my presence. This experience left me feeling completely disregarded and frustrated. I expected better from a medical facility, especially when dealing with patients who have pressing medical needs. The lack of communication and prioritization of patients' needs was unacceptable. I hope Concentra can improve its service and ensure that all patients are treated with the care and respect they deserve."
