Better bedside care offered based on my customer service experience and what I’ve heard. So glad I went to medstar, I felt safe and comfortable there"

"Now that I’m finally done bleeding after THREE MONTHS I can write this review. I was serviced here and I bled for 3 months because of lots of retained fetal tissue that was left inside. (I was 10 weeks) I had to go to the emergency room and another Dr. Office (OBGYN) to find out that the procedure was “incomplete” what they call an “incomplete miscarriage”. When I went back to washington surgi clinic after noticing bleeding/spotting for so long their exact words after telling them how long I’ve been bleeding were “youll be fine it’s just old blood you should be on your period by the end of this month”… and the receptionist is just grouchy and doesn’t show care/compassion. Also the wait is super long and they know it After giving me meds to soften cervix/relax me/ and so I won’t feel pain they said “ok while you was for the medicine to kick in you can maybe go walk to McDonald’s get you something to eat because it will be a while” I’m like what?? Why the heck would I leave and come back after y’all just gave me medicine lol it’s not even funny it’s ridiculous. Oh and they gave me a wipe to wipe myself and it already had blood on it of course they gave me another but like dang. Anyways I hate that my experience was horrible maybe just not the place for me."

"The staff was kind upon arrival. Once they give you your medicine to soften your cervix. They leave you in the reception room and these chairs to just sit there for hours. It’s very uncomfortable they don’t do anything to make you comfortable unless you’re in agony, I sat there for three hours with a sore uterus just waiting for my name to be called. I did not like it at all. The procedure went very well, and I’m very happy with how it went and how painless it was for me. I just got out of surgery so I don’t know how that after process will be, but we Will see. When I went to the front window to ask for some extra pads, the woman Baeza looked at me like “we’re done with you now, so I don’t have to be nice to you anymore”. I was disgusted. Anyways, that was my take on this place."

"The clinic treated me amazing before I had the procedure I was nervous and the nurses I spoke to made me feel comfortable when it was time for my procedure I had a panic attack and started crying because I was scared and the doctor and nurses were right there by my side telling me it will be ok the doctor said he will make sure I come out of the procedure perfectly fine and he will treat me like I am his own I definitely recommend this clinic and this is coming from a 17 year old"

"Going to this place was very traumatic. I get maybe these type of places aren’t supposed to be the best because of the circumstances. But, it was HORRIBLE. The person who had to draw my blood couldn’t find my vein and instead of keep looking she just guesses and stuck me where there was no vein. So, she had to redo it, which that alone was painful and made me skeptical. The place was not very clean in the examination room there was a tube that had blood in it on the floor. For the second day, the actual procedure I was in so much pain and the main nurse who may have been hispanic was very inconsiderate and rude to me. She had said to me “hey hey you need to calm down and be quiet you are scaring the other girls in the waiting room. You wanted to be a big girl so its time to act like one. When you are alone you are loud”. When I had told my mom the lady came back and said to me I was lying about how she made ME feel. But she knew she was wrong because she said “I am not going to talk to your mother because she already thinks what she thinks”. When I told her I felt like I had to push they took me to another room. It was so painful and she didn't make me feel any better about myself or even comfortable. There was two ladies (i dont know their names) that were so nice and full of compassion. They actually comforted me. After the baby was out they took me back to this room where I waited so long for them to actually put me under anesthesia and make sure everything was out. I would not recommend this place especially if you are further along. They make you wait forever even though they tell you a time it is not what they go off of. The actual doctor takes long to arrive, and the main nurse is very inconsiderate and rude. When I read the other reviews before coming here, I knew something would be wrong and should have stuck with that gut feeling but it had to be done. Please do not come here."
