Reviews
"These Reviews are frightening to read I,am already unstable and if this is how Sheppard Pratt treat thier , patients, it's not the place for me because I would be in jail, it's really sad to read reviews like this people are not at these jobs to help people it's only for the money"
"I rarely give reviews and when I do, usually they are positive ones. Unfortunately, that is not the case here with Sheppard Pratt. So far the care I have received been so unacceptable I found myself inspired to share my experience. When I first contacted Sheppard Pratt the staff was rude and it took so long to get connected with a provider I almost gave up. Eventually, they found me someone and I'd just say they were not a good fit for me. It took them about 3 weeks for them to finally find me someone else, mainly because they were unresponsive and lacked follow through. never the less, I was a bit hopeful for a better match, sadly they were not. Collectively, the staff is very rude, unprofessional, and lack follow up or follow through. It seems as if they are either burned out or overwhelmed. My experience made me feel like I was in a relationship with a narcissist that could care less about me. Overall, I found that Sheppard Pratt and their staff is not a good fit for me. It saddens me to see that people just don't care anymore. To be matched with providers that come of as attempting to 'fake it until they make it'. I even tried to make it as easy as possible, expressing my needs, the help I am fighting for, my deepest and most intimate details--to receive such disingenuous care. Based on my overall experience with Sheppard Pratt, their staff, and my level of needs...I do not trust them enough to continue to receive their level of care. I understand that its a lot going on in the world and the need for mental health care is increasing and seemingly providers are overwhelmed but the level of disrespect is too much to continue with this organization. Like, if you have a client that tell you of their trust issues and suffers years of abuse at least try to establish rapport and show trustworthiness. If a client is telling you that they are fighting for their life, fighting to find care, reaching out for help...the least you can do is try to find them help after all you are cashing the checks...right? I need more than a listener who is barely listening. At the end of the day I am simply sharing my experience. Sheppard Pratt, please do better."
"The staff alow people to say slurs, they mistreated children in unit 1-E, my docter said if i keep self harming i would look like a zebra."
