"Grand Rentals made our wedding day happen the way we wanted it to. One day before the wedding they offered to help us out and we got a 20x30 tent put up for an affordable price within 2 hours of asking for it. They were incredible and the rain didn’t bother us a bit thanks to them."
"Not sure how to review this company. Certainly the staff were both attentive, helpful and willing to assist in any way they could (four this aspect I would give 5 Stars), but the cost of rentals just is out of what at least reason. I rented a trencher that was more robust than I needed, more expensive than I felt reasonable. The trailer provided was a wreck and I worried it might not hold together till I returned the unit. The tie down straps were another issue. Necessary, but clearly not set up for this machine -:hence the 3 star review. Would have liked to review higher based on personal interaction, but the rest of the experience was not great. Still the people were great and the machine was in good shape."
"As the New Year begin, we all find ourselves setting resolutions. I remember last years all too well, I had so many house projects to dive right into. I suspect my “fixer upper” will take me a few years to complete because I know absolutely nothing about redoing anything. Many of my ideas were made off of YouTube tutorials, trust me when I tell you…MANY mistakes were made and by chance a fellow flipper that told me about Grand Central Rental. One rental turned into over 20, (for the same two sanding machines) because each time we failed at finishing the floors properly. Time and time again, I was told “it would have been cheaper to pay for a professional” and I fully agree with their input but I still continued to bank on the idea that in order to learn anything…you must do the work. Trust me when I tell you this hurt my feelings, bank account, spirit, loss of sleep, depressed and ready to give up but didn’t. What I’ve learned in all of this was, greatness doesn’t come easy, if it does take time and plenty of redo, mistakes and yes….sometimes regret but worthy of its process. Every step along the way, every staff at Grand Station Rental helped, advised, help load equipment , cheered, even celebrated when I told them this would be the “last sander rental” but jokingly he said we’ll see you again. Ha. I must confess, I got choked up because time and time again, I left knowing this feeling that this project wouldn’t ever end. This time it was different, I had guarantee of relief that I was seeing the prize at the end of the dark tunnel, our floor project is complete. 2022 Resolution we were able to check it off in 2023 and that’s completely ok. So I tell each of you who has excitement of starting a new project, GO FOR IT! This is a place where fail and victories are welcome and there’s no limit to chasing your projects. Just remind yourself, all the greatest achievers in all medias of business, sports, career, ideas, creators and philanthropists all something in common, they made MANY mistakes along the way. So jump right in and let this team help you get to that prize."
"My family and I rented a frame tent with sides, 70 chairs, and I believe 13 tables total. When originally ordering the tent the person I was emailing stated I would probably want sides, so I said yes I do want sides, it was a November party. The items were delivered on Friday. When I got to the location of the event I noticed the sides were all clear (with MULTIPLE RIPS) and a good bit of the tables we rented had the wood popping off in the corners. I contacted the company and they stated that I didn't let them know I wanted solid white sides (I had no clue there were different sides, when I ordered all I was asked is if I wanted sides and I stated yes). I also brought up the fact that multiple tables were messed up and the guy on the phone acted like he had no clue, I offered to send him pictures, but all he said was "these are rental tables.. there's going to be damage". He was extremely rude when I was expressing the issues with these items. I explained that I wanted the white sides and different tables, at this time he told me either I bring them back or I'd have to pay another delivery fee. At this point I was going to pick up my husbands truck and go get the stuff. We ended up not being able to as we were running out of time. The next day (day of the party) was TERRIBLE. The wind had picked up, whoever set the tent up didn't fully strap the top of the tent and NONE of the sides of the tent were pinned down so they kept blowing up, knocked me off the ladder (while I'm putting the straps on the tent) a couple times as well as knocking over my decorations and tables/chairs. We spent most of the day trying to keep the sides down, to the extent of going out and buying TWO different sets of stakes (the first set just popped out of the ground). If this was properly installed then we would not have had to deal with this. I get not staking down the sides if it was summer, but it is November and the sides and holes in the tent let in so much cold. The top of the tent had terrible brown/yellow patch work (white tent). I seriously spent most of the party morning crying having to deal with this tent and all my ruined decoration from the wind blowing in. I totally understand we are using rented equipment, but we are spending A LOT of money to BORROW items and they shouldn't be in terrible shape, a lot of items need to be repaired or replaced. My parents rented a tent from here for my wedding a couple years back where they showed up late and then didn't even bring the sides we paid for. If you want to pay a good bit of money for damaged items this is the place to go, if not I'd advise you to go elsewhere, like we will be doing in the future."
