"Bought custom cellular blinds from Lowes and used their installer. Sales people were very helpful and patient. Unfortunately our address was mis-entered and 3 phone calls did not get it corrected. We got the blinds and they are beautiful. The installer was a courteous professional had them up in less than 30 minutes. No complaints with the work."
"Reps were very knowledgeable but showed up an hour early when I had clearly advised of my availability. Lowe's needs a better way to listen to customers instead of just saying, "We have a 4-hour window." It was my 3rd reschedule (due to their fault) and I told them specifically when I would be there and when I wouldn't. The first day of delivery, I was being nice when the guy told me he wasn't going to be able to arrive until 9 - 10 pm. (outside of the 2:30 - 6:30 window). I was like, "look, I don't want some exhausted installer injuring himself in my house in the middle of the night." I told him he didn't need to come IF he could assure me a delivery first thing in the morning. He agreed. When I called to confirm the next day, the warehouse had never heard of that and didn't have me on the schedule for that day. I had canceled business and travel to be there for the delivery. That was screw up 2, then there was the arriving early and I had to rush back from dropping off my kid so they didn't leave. Overall, super frustrating but I tell you one thing, I will NEVER be the nice guy again when dealing with deliveries. Lesson learned. I got screwed for making sure some guy didn't fall down my steps or have to work until midnight. I don't care if it's 2 AM in the future, you'll deliver the day you said."

"My experience with Lowe’s fence installation service has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initiated a contract for a fence installation in early July, with an estimated completion date of August 24, 2023. However, my journey with Lowe’s has been riddled with incompetence, frustration, and internal miscommunication that directly impacted me as a client. One of the earliest issues I encountered was when they delivered the supplies for the fence at the end of July, even though they had not given me an installation date. I was left in a precarious situation, forced to cover the supplies with a tarp for three weeks to protect them from unforeseen weather conditions. This lack of coordination and foresight on their part was simply unacceptable. To add to the list of problems, for an entire month, Lowe’s continually claimed that the contractor was diligently working on acquiring the necessary permit for the project. It later came to light that Lowe’s had failed to submit my land survey to the contractor, leading to unnecessary delays. Instead of taking responsibility for this error, they shifted the blame onto the permit process. I had no choice but to step in and secure the permit myself. While Lowe’s did eventually refund me for the permit cost, this should never have been my responsibility in the first place. Communication was yet another major issue. After obtaining the permit, I was promised a call within two days to schedule the installation date. However, no call came, and I had to contact them again after a week. Only then did they provide me with an installation date of September 15, significantly delaying the project. Furthermore, the internal miscommunication within Lowe’s only exacerbated my frustration. The fact that they delivered supplies without confirming the installation date and left me to fend for myself for weeks showcases a complete lack of organization and customer care. This entire experience has been beyond frustrating, and I expected much better service from Lowe’s. The numerous delays, lack of communication, mishandling of the permit process, and the ordeal with the supplies, all exacerbated by internal miscommunication, have left me deeply disappointed. I hope that Lowe’s takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary improvements to their customer service, project management processes, and internal communication to prevent such issues in the future. As a customer, I expected a smoother and more efficient experience, and regrettably, that expectation was far from met."
