"Been getting a cut from Jose since 2021 in blessed barbershop. I had to follow him to his new spot one of the best to give me a haircut. Great experience and atmosphere in this place and jose is a terrific barber."
"DO NOT COME HERE! They do not know how to cut hair. Barber also did not speak english, as well as did anything BUT cut hair. Asked for a fade and short trim at the top, instead shaved my head nearly bald and cut off almost all of the hair on top. For 30 bucks? No thanks. Why even open a business if you treat it like a hangout bodega?"
"Worst experience of my life. Took my son here before a big event, and this guy butchered his entire full head of hair, irritated him at the neck, then wanted $30! I came back in to fix it, then realized these people cannot cut Caucasian hair. They are Dominican, and one speaks zero english. Moral of the story, if you're going to open a shop in a majority white town, learn to cut white people hair - or leave. Edit after owner reply: Allow me to address each point. 1) False, my son was quiet because he was angry the barber did not speak English and could not follow directions. He did NOT like the cut, and does not speak Spanish. I was waiting outside in my car while you cut my son's hair, HE is the one who came to me complaining, before even paying you! Remember that ? I'm the one who paid you. 2) I was speaking Spanish to BOTH your barbers, I called one of them "sir" and "boss", and the other one "señor". Explain how that's disrespectful. I also came in telling you I am giving you a chance to fix it. How is that disrespectful? I also paid you the full amount you asked. Disrespect would have been nonpayment. 3) I NEVER told your barber to go back to anywhere. Lie. I speak Castellano and you speak Dominican, so I already knew where you are from before asking you. Did I stutter in my review? What I said was, if you're going to come into a mostly Caucasian town, learn to cut Caucasian hair. Simple. How is that incorrect advice? We both know the difference between white and spanish hair. I said that to you to your face, IN SPANISH. I even walked out smiling, saying repeatedly "aprende!" which means "learn". How is any of this racist? I am an immigrant just like you, I spoke your own language, how DARE YOU try to victimize yourself using the race card! Pitiful on your part, you should be ashamed. It appears to me you are taking blind shots in the dark here, to try and salvage in desperation whatever is left of your reputation. It is worsening every day. I get that I triggered you. But be humble. Its 2023, do better."
"Nice spot I find after work. Good music the barbers are super professional and super cool. Great prices and amazing cuts!!"
"Horrible experience, Expensive, Rude! Barber did not do what was specifically asked of him, had to stop him mid haircut and reiterate what I wanted done, thought we understood each other then he proceeded to not do as I asked. He had to be corrected 3 times in total and I still did not get what I asked for. The barber took nearly 30 minutes to do what everyone else does in 10, it is a VERY simple haircut. Also thought it was rude that the barbers spoke to one another in Spanish for 30 minutes, maybe if he spoke to his customer he would have understood what I was asking to have done. It was insane, I felt like I was on a ride at the fair with how many times he spun me in the chair, he must have used 6 different clippers for something everyone else in the world accomplishes with 1. Absolute worst barbershop I've ever been to. Guy was definitely milking the cut to make me feel like I got something special done. Overpriced! $30 for a simple men's haircut that's with no shave, no edging, no washing, just a haircut thirty dollars!"
