"Went to grab Pokémon card for my nephews birthday, Tyler not only knew what he would love but also gave some shiny gold card for free!!!! These guys kill it every time!"
"Strongly Discourage Buying Cards from “Mears Cards and More” in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. I very clearly specified that I wanted to purchase complete “MINT” 1973 Topps and 1975 baseball sets. Tyler Mears texted he had multiple sets in various condition. I told him I wanted his best cards. He reiterated the cards would be “Near Mint overall”. When the sets arrived, there were actually two missing cards (demonstrating poor attention to detail/poor quality control) and HUNDREDS of BADLY damaged cards with deep and light creases, paper loss, ink spots on front and back, checklists that were marked front and back in ink, and many cards with soft, dinged, and rounded corners (demonstrating no intent to provide Near Mint cards to live up to their end of the deal). I immediately texted him and politely expressed my dissatisfaction. I sent him 129x photos documenting major flaws in scores of cards including star cards. He replied “The cards were said NM-M overall not every card. I am sorry but in my site and in my store and at the show I have advertised as all sales are final. and yes I spoke to my father about this and we are in agreement over this so I do not need threatened with you “going to my dad” I own just as much of the store as he does and frankly handle almost all sales.” I then cut and pasted my texts clearly stating that “I did not want to buy creased cards, dinged cards, and cards with rounded corners”. He then ghosted me (making himself unavailable via Facebook Messenger). This company’s deceit, deception, and dishonorable practices must be exposed and condemned! They FAIL in every important aspect of conducting business: Poor/Ineffective communication, slow to ship, failure to deliver what was promised, couldn’t care less about their customer’s satisfaction, and then refused to refund my money. Do not ignore other negative reviews on Google. Previous complaints from other buyers expressed similar displeasure over predatory business practices which were thoughtlessly dismissed as “falsity”. This company claims that they welcome you to reach out about your unsatisfactory experiences, but they don’t have the integrity to do what is right. My complaint fell on deaf ears. We deserve a lot better! Buy elsewhere! Find an honest seller with a conscience!"
"Beware of predatory tactics by this “Card shop” Has multiple cards that are dinged despite being “Graded” as a gem mint. These have labels that will have perfect 10s, with a large “Gem Mint” in bold lettering. The company he sent the cards to is named “Gem Mint” and will give any card 10’s across the board for $15. He then sold a base card worth $0.99 for $30(Initially $50 with a price tag of $90) under the guise of being gem mint, when in reality just a customized card to fool people into thinking it was even graded at all. Not only overpriced at $30 but to put a fake grade is despicable and drives beginners away from the hobby. I hope the $30 was worth it!"
