Reviews
"I waited a few months to make this review so it would be honest and not based purely out of emotion. We had a horrible experience with this center. We were made to feel that our child had terrible behavior issues, told other children were “scared” of him and that teachers got “battlescars” from him. The behaviors we were being told about rarely transitioned into things he ever did at home other than things that would be considered typical toddler behavior. We started to be called almost weekly to pick our child up from the center. We never found out why these behaviors we were told about seemed to be exacerbated at this center so much or if it was just that things were being very much so blown out of proportion. The offer of help was minimal and not genuine from staff and we caught the new director in multiple lies. We ended up seeking behavioral therapy on our own to which we did three sessions and after discussion with the therapist after those sessions, was decided it was needed. We were also told that when our child needed an inhaler for his treatment of rsv that they couldn’t give it to him because “they had to pick and choose their battles with administering medication.” I ended up getting a note from his pediatrician and they did end up doing it but it was a struggle to get there. My child was miserable here and it really started to show. We pulled him from the center and he started a new center 2 weeks later. He has been at this center since October and not one incident, phone call or email. He is blossoming at this other center and I regret not pulling him from ACP sooner. It was our first experience with daycare and it was traumatic for our child and for us as parents. There were a few good days and fun times sprinkled throughout his time there which was about a year and a half but as a whole, this center was unsupportive of our family. I recommend trusting your gut feelings when it comes to situations like this because I wish I would have sooner."
"We have been very pleased with our experience at ACP. Both of our boys have been going since they were babies and now they are 4 and 5 years old. We love that the children are always learning new things in their classes. We get weekly updates about what they are learning along with pictures of them doing activities in their classrooms. We also love how meals and snacks are provided. It's so convenient. We feel that our boys are in very good hands."
"Responding to Jared Bostick's review of a Child's Place. I am the mother of the child who he called to inquire. This was the first call he ever placed to this facility in the 3 years she has been attending. I am the only parent that drops off/picks up my child daily and has the day to day interactions with the owners and staff. Not only are they all amazing people, they are honest people. My child loves this school and all the teachers. Please consider the source before taking a review like his seriously, as his motives behind it are not coming from a good place. I love this daycare, my child has learned SO much and I would recommend A Childs Place to every single person I know with little children."
"My son started attending daycare here when he was 3 months old and is now 2. He absolutely loves it here! The teachers he has had in every room have always been very attentive and patient with my son, and also me as a first-time parent, and you can tell they truly love the kids in their care."
