"All of my visits to GEAR has ended in frustration. First, they claimed to not be able to find a part, which ended in them keeping my bike out of action for 3 weeks instead of the initial 1 they told me. I had actually called after a week and it appeared nobody even checked on it. My most recent experience was rim tape on a brand new wheel not adhering to the rim, which resulted in a bunch of extra work for me. My advice: invest the money in a good set of tools and educate yourself on the intricacies of your own bike. GEAR is just another run of the mill corporate bike shop that is ill prepared to service a high end bike. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the tech has always been nice to me. I don’t think they are intentionally trying to frustrate their customers, I just don’t think they have the expertise. I pay money for a service - that service shouldn’t require me to spend extra time to fix things that were screwed up and prevent me from riding my bike."

"I went to this store to buy a e-bike I want to say they were very helpful. On the second note I didn’t buy from them because I couldn’t get an extended warranty through them i was told further more they couldn’t get the bike I wanted they said they ordered it but never came in . So to get the extended warranty, I ordered it through Aventon I received my bike and it wasn’t working properly so I took it to these guys to fix the problem and when I got my bike back in a good time they didn’t tie the wires back didn’t tighten up the screws and didn’t put the grommet back in the wire hole . So if you decide to have work done on your e-bike make sure you check it out good before you leave I haven’t gotten to try the bike out yet since I had to button up their work for them!!!!! If I hadn’t checked it out the wires would have been rubbing the rear tire which would’ve caused me alot more damage and problems!!!! Oh and I forgot when I got it back it had two scratches on it!!!"

"My husband Daren called to get help with his new e-bike. Josh saved the day and took the time to talk him through a few simple things over the phone. We really appreciate small businesses and people like Josh who take time for each customer. We will definitely be going back there in the near future!! Thank you again so much!"

"Do not support this business! I went into the Port Orange location to buy my dad a bike, and the employees were told in front of me that the store was closing in four day!!! FOUR DAYS?! Four days to find another job to support themself and family. Four days to collect money for rent/mortgage??? These employees were left jobless. I couldn’t even imagine how they had to tell their families. I am appalled that someone would do this, especially in this time in the economy. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. I’m so disgusted."

"This place is great! I must have been in the store 10 or 12 times over the last couple months tire kicking trying to figure out which E-bike is right for me. Each time I was there, the guys would answer all the questions I had. They even searched answers on some technical questions if they did have the answer. Every time they had the patience to deal with me! Ultimately I did buy three bikes from them. I 100% recommend this place!"
