"For those who do not like lengthy reviews, send your kid here. The tuition is a little high but if you can afford it or can get some subsidy that can be used, do it. Do not hesitate, just enroll your child. Lengthy version: I enrolled my two children here after another very well-known, reputable daycare lost my, at the time, two year old and another classmate. They didn't realize that were missing until two strangers brought them back - traumatizing, horrific.... yes! Thankfully, the kids were just fine. Finding another place that would take a toddler and infant (and ease my panicked mind) was tough but KAC just had enough space and has been perfect. It has been the rainbow after that storm and significantly better than the previous center (which we initially thought was wonderful). Our priorities for a center are education/curriculum, safety, cleanliness, and nurture/encouragement. KAC has exceeded my expectations. At KAC, your babies will be nurtured, kept safe, be given nutritious meals/snacks, treated with kindness and respect while learning to do so as well, they will be encouraged to always try, be free to play while learning about rules, participate in a range of activities (dance, yoga, science projects, sports, Spanish, etc.) and be more than prepared to enter kindergarten - my four year old informed of the different food groups recently, as told by Mr. Michael, she said :) Due to the nature of my husband's work, we have moved often, meaning we had to leave KAC. We are currently at our fourth childcare center and KAC is still, by far, the best. KAC, thank you all so much for loving our girls and helping them grow and blossom. We miss you all tremendously! P.S. The girls loved their little gifts"

"Kiddie Academy is by far, the absolute best childcare in the area. The Admin, teachers and really the entire staff is kind and obviously cares about my son. Of course, the educational value is unmatched! Our 2-year old has been attending since about 6 months old and he is still constantly surprising us with what he learns at school. Family members and friends are always shocked by what he knows at his age. I give KAC 100% of the credit as we work with him at home, but could never have taught him what he knows by ourselves."

"Kiddie Academy had a delightful promotional event complete with a petting zoo, pony ride, face painting, and free flavored shaved ice. The staff there were kind and helpful. The location of the school is perfect if you are a parent who lives or works in Town Center, Columbia."

"My son went to the kiddie academy of Columbia for two years and we had an amazing experience. The teachers, aids and the management are all very kind and caring and they did an excellent job in taking care of him. They have really high standards in childcare and education. I would have put him back there if we had not moved from Maryland."

"Kiddie Academy is my 2-year-old son’s first daycare. In his first week of daycare, I was so worried about almost everything. I wasn’t sure if he could get along with his teachers and other kids, as he doesn’t speak English. I wasn’t sure if he would sleep alone at noon. I wasn’t sure how his teacher would toilet train him… Only a week later, all these worries disappeared! My son has great days at Kiddie Academy! He loves his teachers and he makes progresses every day. He learns drawing skills and a lot of new songs. He has also started social networking! In addition, Kiddie Academy provides healthy and nutritious meals all week long! It’s important that they teach my child good eating habits now, since healthy eating habits are more likely to stay with him if he learns them as a child. I’m deeply grateful to teachers at Kiddie Academy who take wonderful care of my little one! I cannot thank you enough!"
