"Customer service at the Ross Park Mall is no where to be found. First, signs posted stated holiday hours started at 9 am. The doors were not open until after 10 am. When I finally did my shopping I went to check out. I was told by the cashier she would be a while and to proceed to another check out such as linens, beauty, jewelry, or customer service. I went to linens and beauty and there was no cashier to help check out. I then went to jewelry and was told to go to another cashier in beauty. I told them no one was there. She reluctantly checked the prices of the items I was to purchase but could not tell me if I could use the coupons I had. She said sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I returned my items to the shelf and left this store as no one could help me. I will no longer shop at this store where customer service is severely lacking."

"I have never had a problem at this store. The people who have assisted me have always been friendly and extremely helpful. There have been long lines for returns and pickups, but that is to be expected considering everywhere is short staffed. People need to be patient and kind."

"On Thursday I went to this JCPenney location to purchase some baby clothes. The sale was extremely nice so I had quite a few items in hand. I went to the first register and a lady was folding clothes I stood there for a few moments and I asked her was she closed? She said yes and told me to head to jewelry they can ring you up there. I proceed to jewelry where there was one sales person attending a customer and a few people looking around. I got behind the lady who was being helped when the sales lady said, do you need to checkout out? I said yes, the lady told me to come here and she says rudely “ well, we’re a bit occupied here. There’s another register down there.” I just decided to walk back to the children’s section and put the clothes I wanted to purchase back. I do not spend my money in places where people are rude. Shame on your staff."

"Super messy and extremely unpleasant cashier near the mall entrance. Asked for a mystery coupon, would not give me one. Then started complaining to another employee about how much she hated her job. No wonder they are practically out of business. Long lines , no pleasant employees and stuff everywhere that looks like it never gets straightened up. Stay away."

"Everything was on one floor. We were looking for mens casual dress pants and button downed shirts. Definitely picked over, and didn't seem to be much if any one style/brand. We left without finding anything in the sizes we needed."
