"For 12 years we had taken our Pomeranian to Burke Animal Clinic. She was perfectly healthy according to the veterinarian. We had all her yearly testing done along with senior blood work and everything came back normal. One morning she was unable to walk and collapsed to the ground. We rushed her to a local emergency veterinarian which ultimately lead us to the difficult decision to put her down. Testing came back positive for Cushing’s and Heart disease. Did Burke Animal Clinic even run testing on her? Surely her senior blood work would have shown these two diseases. For 12 years we trusted Burke Animal Clinic. They failed to provide a proper standard of care and showed lack of compassion during the entire process."

And after the surgery, doctor gave me a call about the biopsy results and fortunately, it’s not cancer but just benign, and he gave very clear explanation. "The doctor was very knowledgeable and the staff were amazingly caring for my pet. I am taking one star because the towel that the assistant used to carry my pet in had stains. Also they need to do some maintenance to the sink because when I wanted to wash my hands but the water spilled everywhere and I had to wipe the area because it was embarrassing to make that mess and leave it wet."
