"I am scheduled to have a CT Angiogram Coronary on 3/4/24. I was told by my doctor that Medicare may cover the cost. So, I call their finance department on 2/8/24 to be sure they check with Medicare for surety of payment. When I spoke with one lady in the department, I was advised I should call Medicare myself to see if it's covered, and when I do get a code. I advised the young lady I have never heard of such. That any facility I go to including dentist check to see if coverage is payable before they even start a procedure. This is what I was trying to do. So instead of going back and forth with the caller, which seemed she really didn't want to talk to me, I got on the phone today with Medicare per her instructions. And like I thought, Medicare said the doctor or facility give the code in order for them to look up and see if payment is covered. So, I called back today 2/9/24, and both times I called I got a response no one picking up. What a mess. I am going to call the doctor's office to see if I can choose my own Imaging center to get this done. I am really afraid to go here."

"Huge shout-out to Angel, who saved my day by going above and beyond to help me get a copy of my imaging on a CD. (10 out of 5 stars!). BUT, the Imaging Library/pick up window gets 0 stars. This is because the regular staff person unilaterally decided to close the imaging office two hours *prior* to the posted closing time. I had traveled from DC, through flooding and a tornado warnings, to make it in time before the posted 7pm close of the Imaging Library/pick up window. However, when I arrived by 530pm on Monday, the office was closed. A cleaning staff person said the one person who was there had left 30 mins prior. The posted sign on the window confirmed the closing time of 7pm (on Mondays)."

"It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before an appointment. This is my 3rd visit. The first time 1 hour and 15 minute delay. The second time one-half hour delay. This time one-half hour delay and still waiting. I know its not all about me but it is very difficult to plan the rest of the day."
