"Peace & Blessings! My 5☆ rating goes as follows: the store was clean, neat, and well stocked. The staff were friendly, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. The prices were good and reasonable."
"Today I walked into my neighborhood Giant to make a purchase, included was a deli order. I got all the way home and realized the deli gave me ham instead of turkey. I knew I had to go back to the store because my family does not eat pork, and my son needed lunch meat for his lunch for the remainder of the week. I got into my vehicle and made my way back to the store. When I arrived, I went to the deli and told the clerk that I had just been in the store, and I asked for turkey but was given ham. While she was preparing the correct order, I tossed the ham in the trash in front of the deli. The clerk asked what did I do with the ham because I needed to do the proper exchange at customer service. I told the clerk I didn’t mind going to customer service but I threw the ham away and showed her where it was. I TOOK THE TURKEY TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER WHERE I MET CLAIRE. I explained to Claire what happened. She said okay I’ll go back and get the ham. I WAITED FOR CLAIRE TO RETRIEVE THE HAM FROM THE TRASH AND COME BACK TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER. Claire scanned both deli orders and told me there was a $5.30 difference. I told Claire I would be right back because I left my wallet in the car. I thought I could go to the deli and they just swap it out. I grabbed everything on the counter including the meat and told her I would be right back. Claire yelled you can’t take the meat out of the store. As I walked to my car, I heard Claire, on the overhead speaker, call security to the front for theft. I got my wallet out of my car and returned back to the desk. I asked Claire why did she have to do all of that. If I had any intention on stealing the $5.30 in meat I would have never went to customer service on my own after receiving my correct order. I also would have never waited on Claire to come back to the customer service counter after she went to look for the ham in the trash. Furthermore, I was wearing a full fire department uniform. Claire racially profiled me. I have a livelihood, I make an honest living. I have no reason to steal, especially not $5.30 in deli meat. For her to do what she did was totally humiliating and an insult to my character. I shop at this store all the time. I do not appreciate how Claire treated me as a guest. The manager was called to the counter and she tried shutting me up by interjecting as I explained what had transpired. She apologized with an obvious lack of empathy. The manager did refund my money and gave me the order for free, but honestly as an African American that just wasn’t enough. Everybody is not out to steal, every black person does not have ill intentions. Despite what Claire has heard or seen on TV, every black person does not live in poverty. I plan to never visit this store again. I hope Claire learned a valuable lesson."
"Little expensive than other grocery stores but convenient. I just grabbed 1 cake, it was good."
"Absolutely horrible experience. We arrived at the grocery store before 5 o’clock by at least 10 to 15 minutes along with a group of some people who also needed to do a little bit of last-minute grabs for Thanksgiving. The manager had already locked the doors and was not allowing anybody inside. She was being very rude and actually pushed an older lady Who attempted to go into the door. Very rude service and unacceptable, unprofessional behavior."
"The deli department is a mess in the afternoon/evening. The chicken packs always missing pieces. The AA employee tries his best to avoid working or doing anything but slacking around. Will never be back. There are a lot of choices around."
