"I will not return after many years of loyal service! The employee that did my pedicure was unprofessional from the start. Disgruntled about service charges and begged me for a tip via only Venmo or Cashapp. The employee that did my manicure was mute and lacked any customer service etiquette and basic manners. She was most focused on rushing the job to her liking. Hurt me a few times and never apologized."

"Walked in without an appt, which they accept. I told them I wanted a full set and they said ok but nothing else. After a few minutes I said to the receptionist "so is there someone who can do my nails? The receptionist said "are you ready for your full set?" in my mind I'm thinking "duh". She summoned nail tech and I asked the tech if she knew how to do good nails? Anyone who gets their nails done, KNOWS this is not an outlandish question, and you want to not be paired with someone with no experience. The tech looked at me and said "WHAT??" I repeated can you do good nails and she walked away. I told the receptionist what happens and the receptionist said " oh they don't like when you ask them that." lol but not really. I said to the receptionist well is there someone else who can do them and she said we don't have availability till 1pm. I told the receptionist to ask the tech again about my nails but she said no she doesn't want to do them. I made a 1pm appt and promptly walked out and around the corner to Metropolitan Nail Shop on Pentagon Row. Had a fabulous experience with Kaly. Definitely going back to Metropolitan. I have a few folks who have stopped going to Modern Nails because of their nasty attitudes. I now join the ranks. I don't have the tech's name - but I will get it and post here."

"Disgusting. I was charged an extra $10 for long length, but my nails are medium. The damp towels smelled of mildew. I had to ask nail tech to remove it. She was entirely too rough with my hands and skinned me with the drill twice. She didn’t add nearly enough acrylic on my nail bed, my tips are loose and almost bendy. A waste of $60 for a basic gel full set. GO ELSEWHERE!!"

"My fingers was cut really bad at my cuticle. I a man in construction and get my hands and feet done once a month. I went here because it was close to my job. It’s been 5 days and my nail still looks like this. They didn’t even offer my a discount. Instead they pressured me for tip. Pic attached"
