"They are a bunch of scam artists. We prepaid for a three piece set sofa, love seat, and recliner two months before we needed them at the time a great deal. When we were ready for them they couldn’t find the order and kept giving us the runaround. Then a different salesman at the store said take this two piece set home now and if you like it just callback and we will order the recliner. When we did call back for the recliner they tried to tell us that we would need to pay to the recliner because they have no record of it. I am completely disappointed and angry."
"DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE THERE- THEY ARE CROOKS! Ordered lift chair 11/19. Salesman Chris told us to expect delivery the following week. After 10 days, we tried calling, but phone rang off the hook. I visited the store 3 times in the following week. The first 2 salesman couldn't tell from the receipt if our chair was in, because the receipt had no details about the order. On the 3rd time, Chris was in. I first asked whey no one answered the phones, and he told me that they didn't pick up the phone unless they say a familiar name on caller ID. He said that the chair wasn't in, so I asked for a refund. Chris told me that he would have to check with the accounting department the following day before issuing a refund. At this point, we became suspicious, and my wife asked Chris if he was a crook. At that point, Chris told us that he was calling the police, and ordered us to leave the store and not come back. So we called the police, since we had no chair, or refund. On the following day, we received an email from the owner, Dave, that our expectations were unreasonable, given that average delivery times in furniture industry were 2-4 weeks, and that my wife's 1 star review was invalid. Our expectation of quicker delivery was conveyed to us by Chris, who as a furniture salesman should have known better. Dave said he instructed his salesmen not to have any contact with us except by email, but that we would receive a refund within 2 business days, (by 12/15). We never received any further emails from Dave or our refund of $642, or a chair. Our charge is now being disputed by our bank."
"*DO NOT SHOP HERE* 4 months waiting for a mattress I was told would take 10 days. I purchased a mattress from them that has a 365 day warranty and after 3 months I requested to exchange for a different mattress within the same brand and pay the difference. First I was told I would need to somehow get the mattress to the store myself, which if I were to have purchased the bed from the company directly online (Nectar), they pick it up for free and you are refunded within 5 days. JD eventually agreed to pick up the mattress, so I paid the difference for my new mattress and was told it would arrive in 10 days at which point delivery would be scheduled. That was September 19th, I still have not gotten the mattress and no refund for the original mattress or the upgrade I paid for. The last person I worked with told me I would get a full refund after Christmas if they couldn't provide the mattress, I emailed him and he no longer works for the company. I have spent months calling, emailing and going to the store to no avail. I called 6 times today with no answer, drove there and all the lights and Open sign are on, but all the doors are locked. 100% a scheme set up."
"I bought a sofa and recliner. With the warranty. Come to find out months later when I had an issue with the sofa my warranty was never called in. WHILE I PAID FOR IT! I’ve attempted calling sending numerous emails…I got a few responses, now silence! Still no warranty and money gone. Not at all professional! David one of the owners reached out to me. Refunded my warranty and will be helping with the matter…we will see what happens from here."
"There is something unscrupulous about this store. I ordered a couch back in November and was told it would take 3-4 weeks. Around the 3rd week I messaged the owner to see if there were any updates. I was informed that it being a special order item that it would be at least another 2 weeks, but was expected before Christmas. I let it go until after Christmas and stopped by to see if there was any further information. The full timer working asked me to give him a couple days and he would get back to me as the owner was out of the country. Long story short after going back today I was told that the original couch was most likely not going to show up and settled on a floor model of the same style just in a different color. I settled only due to the fact that my old one was broken and I needed a couch. I will not be returning here for any future furniture and recommend only buying off the floor as it seems ordering anything is questionable."
