"The nail tech was nice and friendly but she rushed my nails, their were specks of dust mixed in with the polish, all my nails were filed into different shapes and the powder hard gel is on my cuticles now causing irritation. I will not be returning"

"This was my first time, I was in a rush and only needed a fill-in. The nail tech offered to do a design, only to screw it up.She acknowledged the mistake, I appreciate the effort. Don’t know if I’ll come back though."

"If you want quality service, please don't go to Nail Works Bar. I went there two weeks ago and, I think the biggest problem is that thier products are old. Yes, it shows. I've tried a few other places and I didn't like them as well. I will be going back to Greenbelt where I know my nails will done right. Nail service cost too much to be poorly done and it does make you mad."

"Overall, all the nail techs have been very kind to me and, compared to downtown DC, the prices are reasonable. However, the quality of service is extremely inconsistent. The young gentleman who sits at the back left table is the best one there! Has done my acrylics and my gel manis/pedis beautifully every time. Unfortunately, it's hit or miss with everyone else. My last visit I got a gel manicure. 2 of the nails chipped by the next day. And as of today (just a week later), 6 of my nails are chipped with the paint on 2 nails completely chipped off. Which is really unacceptable for the $42 I paid and led to me finally writing a review. I may try giving them another chance in the future, but really hope they're taking the time to read these reviews and improve!"

"I visited this location a few times due to their close proximity. They wouldn't normally be my type of nail salon as it's usually very loud, a little chaotic, and not the most clean. But I went because their location was convenient. This weekend, I was visiting my home state and went to another nail salon where they showed me I had actually developed a nail fungus. They said it's due to my previous nail salon not properly cleaning it before applying a fill and water getting underneath, developing the fungus on two nails. It doesn't hurt, but I'm extremely grossed out and will not return to Nail Works."
