"The staff was so helpful! They measured and fit me for styles that match my body type."
"The girls here were so nice! They went out of their way to get me a bandaid when I needed one. So sweet."
"For a brand that boasts body positivity I should not have to ask if they carry d cups and then get on my hands and knees to go through the drawer to find one. No one offered to help me or asked if I needed anything. Very disappointed."
"One of the greatest brand for women looking for sports and casual look. This location was in two floor top one was sportswear athletic and the first floor was more casual and underwear’s."
"SO DISAPPOINTED. First let down was the lack of bras available. Sadly not as well stocked as I hoped. Second and biggest let down- Aerie stands for inclusion and positivity, sadly all I experienced was today was negative. Not one staff member welcomed us in, but I watched them welcome other patrons. I figured maybe they didn't see me and my sister walk in, it happens. After making multiple attempts to connect with someone for help, waiting patiently as each patron asked their question and making eye contact with several employees, I was completely ignored. Figured they're busy with other shoppers and weren't purposely being rude, just overwhelmed with the current people they were helping. So after making my way completely through the store I decided maybe I could be helped upstairs. The upstairs floor was basically empty, had about 4-5 employees working and maybe 3 shoppers. Again, no welcome as we entered although we walked by several employees eyeline. As I made my way into a dressing room the staff member helped me and one other patron. She later came back to ask if that patron needed anything, but didn't follow through with the same customer service for me. I thought maybe she forgot I was in there, but as I exited she saw me, didn't ask any follow up questions or if I needed any help. Completely ignored me. As we walked out way out we saw a group of younger girls, all greeted with a warm and excited hello and extended customer service to help out if they need anything. It's then I stopped with the excuses I was mentally making for them and realized this was not accidental. Also, I use to work at an AE Outfitters store, I'm well aware of their training and how they should treat customers. This is definitely not it. You don't bombard or stalk someone around the store and you definitely don't ignore and ostracize. Safe to say- Aerie still has a way to go in how to train their employees/staff on how to actually follow through on their ever so popular "inclusive and positivity" marketing. I've never felt so small in a store before."
