"This boutique was suggested to me from a close friend that lives in the area. My niece needed a dress for her prom and we could not find anything locally in Richmond. Right at opening, Gilda greeted us, put us in a fitting room with dresses my niece pulled as well as dresses she had selected for her. As someone who’s been in boutique sales for 10 years, I was impressed by how she managed the store with a room full of customers. If you’ve ever been in boutique sales, then you wouldn’t understand how difficult it is to appease to the grandmother, mother, aunts and the teenager attending the prom! It’s a difficult task that she handled effortlessly. We actually ended up purchasing the dress she suggested and it wasn’t something grossly overpriced. Gilda is a gem in the age where customer service just doesn’t impress me enough to leave a review. Every girl left with a dress and every girl wasn’t shown the same dress. Thank you for the experience, it is something, as a family, we will never forget."

"Significantly frustrated by my experience here. They certainly market their dresses for proms, bat mitzvahs and quinceanera's, but my daughters dress literally started coming apart before her prom was over. The dress clearly had a defect, but I was told it was a "delicate" fabric and this was normal wear and tear. Very surprising, since my daughters and her friends have been to several events where dresses are able to be worn for more than one occasion. I was not asking for a refund, just the ability to have the dress repaired or replaced. They did reach out to the designer, but did not offer to repair or replace the dress, and despite my attempt at communicating, I have not received any further assistance. Just be advised that the dresses they sell are clearly more of a couture item, not to actually be worn. Responding to Signature's response: Wow....its interesting how quickly you responded to the negative Google review, but have yet to respond to my emails. Had you done that you would have seen that I although it was not the appropriate course of action, I did want to receive the beads so that the dress could be repaired and asked you to contact me when they arrived, especially since you still have the dress in your possession. Also, since you have sold hundreds of this dress without issue, then you should have agreed that this item was defective and should be replaced. Hopefully now you will respond to my emails, so we can discontinue this negativity online."

"Gilda is awesome. I've been a customer of her shop for years. She always helps my sister find the perfect dress for her pageants and even get them in at the last minute. She absolutely delivers a winner every single time.Have never had a bad experience there. I will keep going back here for all occasions requiring formal dresses.
