"The way Eric Alexander speaks to customers (especially from behind a keyboard) is extremely unprofessional, and borderline disgusting. Take a look at the other recent reviews to see more examples of how he retaliates to any negative feedback - this guy thinks he's a gift from god. Newsflash buddy - whether you like it or not, as with any small business you work in customer service first and foremost. People notice when you act like you are above them and everyone else, and they will talk about it. Drop the superiority complex and be better. We used him once or twice and can now see why others have decided to seek care elsewhere. Thankfully we aren't in deeper than a few visits. Edit: I haven't tried to insult you, I've only stated our experience; the fact you've interpreted our experience as an insult is extremely telling. You haven't found my record because it was my wife that you originally insulted. I truly hope for your own sake that you can become a kinder person."
"DO NOT TAKE THE PETS YOU LOVE HERE! this office has went downhill post covid. I understand that everywhere is short staffed but this does not explain the mistreatment and misdiagnoses on my 13 year old dog. They even hung up on me when I was trying to find out about a $300 test that I had to retake due to their mistake. I am SO happy I switched to another local vet because if I did not switch she would have DIED! I now have regrets staying here as long as I did with my other dog because they told me I had to put her down. Was there other options? AVOID!!!!!!!!"
"I previously took my dog to Alexander Veterinary Hospital as a regular “ patient.” I had a circumstance happen that my dog needed to get in to see the dr but they did not have an opening for almost 2 weeks. So I called my nieces vet and they were able to see her much sooner. Since I had taken her to another vet Dr. Alexander refused to see my dog anymore. Which I honestly was quite surprised and disappointed. I called their office to obtain the name of the Omega Benefit service provider so that I could continue my dogs doses and they would not provide me their information. I would not recommend taking your pet to this Veterinary Hospital, I am very disappointed and rather displeased with how this office handled the entire situation."
"I’ve been to this vet twice now and so far, so good. They haven’t required anything outrageous of me or made any outrageous claims about my pet’s health, they have parking in front of their storefront, the location is convenient (right on Ritchie Hwy), and the staff so far seem nice. Dr Alexander does not beat around the bush, he tells you straight; which I like. He also makes himself available by phone at night and on weekends, for emergencies. He once stitched up my pet who had a 3-inch gash on their leg, and it did not get infected and it healed quickly."
"Awesome place to take your pets. Everyone is super friendly and they separate dogs and cats to avoid conflict. They also sell diet food for both cats and dogs and the 24 hour emergency service gives you peace of mind."
