"If you look at the reviews with 5 stars you will see it is all done by the stylist named Mary. Before you go here you must have your own hair pre washed and detangle. (It's policy) You can imagine my surprise when I didn't get an proper shampoo then had to ask for conditioner to detangle my own hair. I made the mistake of not booking with MARY. ALL I ASKED FOR WAS A WASH AND BLOWOUT (I had a long two weeks and my hair suffered with me so I needed help). As soon as I came in "wow that's a lot of hair, go take a seat at my chair. I'll need you to detangle your own hair for me" so I did with no help until I said "hey it'll be faster if you can help me on the other side please, I would appreciate it" he reply " hold on let me get another brush. It seems like you have a good system going on" (keep in mind I didn't even get a shampoo, it was condensed to detangle and rinse) If I was told on the phone ahead of time I would've just done my own hair and saved $35 on conditioning my hair and doing it myself (I did say on the phone that my hair is tangled and need help to wash it, I was told no problem we will take care of you)"

"Absolutely the BEST curly hairs cut I have ever had. Mary was amazing and as soon as she saw my hair she knew exactly what I needed. I was also really really happy and a little touched that even after my hair was dried and styled she double checked with me again if there were any parts that might need fixing. This haircut was very different from any haircut I’ve experienced in the past. Mary is very knowledgeable about hair product and methods and when we talked, she told me about curly hair classes that she has been taking.
