"This place should be so much busier than it was. The spicy broth base was very good and the selection of items to put in it, vast. Service was quick and the staff, friendly. I particularly like the shrimp and mussels."

"Please don’t waist your money here. If you’re looking for a good hot pot and BBQ this is not the place for you to go. All food is hard rock frozen as it get to the table. Meat taste like it was frozen for years, very dry. Broth tasted like distilled water with hot oil in it, no taste and no flavor. If you are looking for a good service restaurant, this is absolutely not the place for you as well. We basically serve ourselves with napkins, utensils, and water. We ask for ice water and napkins, never came and we have to stand up get it ourselves. Server have the worst attitude ever. I really can’t find any positive thing to say about this restaurant. Please don’t waste your money here. I highly recommend K-pot restaurant if you’re looking for hot pot and bbq."

"King Ting Hot Pot was very good. The food was very good quality, but the service seemed to be an after thought. The staffed seemed more concerned with talking to each other then helping. The whole time we were there we got one cup of water, and our one drink. Our waitress took out order, and brought our drinks. Then she never came back, until she brought the bill, then tried talking me up clearly looking for a good tip. The food was very good, and soup broth was very flavorful. All the hot pot and grill equipment worked well, and was clean. Over all it was a positive experience."

"Was fearing for my life throughout this meal. I only went to this place because it was open late but in hindsight I should’ve stayed home. We came at around 11pm on a week night and we were the only diners. Most of the ingredients had a weird taste as they were not fresh and seemed like they were frozen for a very long time. The meat became very dark after cooking which I have never seen before at hot pot. The quality of the ingredients were sub par and I am not sure I would even go here as a last resort. Maybe it would have been better if there were other customers and ingredient turnover was higher, but given that this was AYCE and we were not supposed to waste food, I felt obliged to eat most of the food, which made me fear for my well-being."

"If it's your first time doing hot pot or BBQ then this may not be the place for you unless you have someone who knows what to do. The staff will teach you how to turn on the grill and boiler but there's no reference for how long to cook the ingredients that you order. The meat for the BBQ was disappointing. We didn't even get tongs to separate touching the uncooked meat and cooked meat. It felt too rubbery or fatty after being cooked. There was definitely no wrong with any of the veggies that were ordered. The only things I enjoyed were the sauce bar, bone marrow soup base and the interior of how the resturant looked."
