"My wife and I have 2 dogs and a cat. We both have grown up with dogs our whole life. So vet visits are nothing new to us. It has always been important that a Vet / staff not only treat the animals but care for the animals as well. Dr. Ludwig is a vet who cares about your animals health, not just treating patients to turn a profit. Our golden doodle has been to vets back and forth for a leg issue that has turned into a near 2 year process. Double-ACL tear (dr.ludwig recommended a great vet in Maryland who confirmed the ACL tear and preformed the surgery) then later a muscle tear on the same leg. With near 70% muscle loss Dr. Ludwig + the staff has gone out of their way to make sure that our doodle has had a path toward normal. While I believe Heston is a great place they are a small growing office so there has been some growing pains even on our end but if you can stick through that as they grow, learn and get better then you'll find a vet and staff that truly cares about the animals. And not to forget the vet techs and staff who greet Magnolia like she's family everytime she walks in the door. And a special shout out to Caroline (the surgical tech) who has taken amazing care of Magnolia the many times she's graced their halls!"

"Dr Ludwig and his staff are the most amazing people I have ever met. I had no confidence in vets after a misdiagnosis from another vet killed a dog that I had for 14 years. My Mojo was in a bad way and Dr Ludwig helped bring him back. I was working with limited finances and even knowing this he still continued to help with him. On Saturday June 18,2022 Mojo finally succumbed to his illnesses and I had to make the decision to ease his suffering. Even though he's gone Dr Ludwig is still there for me. You will not find a better vet and vet office then this one. Thank you again for all you did. It means so much to me and I will never forget it. "Dr. Ludwig is fantastic, about a year ago my pup wasn’t himself at all and had me at a complete panic. I did not know Dr. Ludwig but a family member did, so she gave him a call and he rushed my boy in, and he wasn’t even his patient at the time! He stayed after hours to do emergency surgery for my boy. And at a price that did not completely break me, he gave his number for after hours questions, and anything else we might of needed, if it wasn’t for him my boy wouldn’t of made it through the night. But he is still happy and thriving! And he is still a patient and always will be a patient of Dr. Ludwig’s, because he genuinely cares about the dogs over anything. The staff is all fantastic and caring. We love it here. ❤️"
