"I've been hitting up Scanlon's for their Wednesday night Quizzo the past few weeks. It has given me a better opportunity to evaluate Scanlon's and I am liking what I see. While I would not call it a dive bar, nor is it a true locals only place, it does have quite a friendly home-ish feel. I've had a few snack-type food items once or twice, but probably not enough to truly comment on. However, they have a decent selection of both draft and bottled beers that I am sure you'll find something to drink at a decent price as well. If you are looking for fancy cocktails, you'll need to keep looking - they really only offer basic mixers. Service is nice and very approachable. Pull up a seat at the bar and say hello. SYOY!"
