"Bottom line: If this isn’t the best barbecue in Philadelphia, then I want to find the place that’s better. These ribs are dancing with flavor. From the smoke to the rub and the sauce (which you won’t need but have it anyway), everything is a new flavor experience. And the sweet potato cornbread… I guarantee you’ve never had anything like it. Just get it. I have a new favorite barbecue spot in Philly. No question about it."

"Parrette, the owner, was charming and efficient. Food, to go, arrived in a timely manner. We waited at one of the many picnic tables. Cars arrived, clearly ordered ahead, and drivers picked up orders. The brisket and ribs were tender. The rub used had sufficient flavor for me. My husband added the mild sauce. Collard greens were seasoned nicely without being overly salty. Mac and cheese was okay. I like mine cheesier. Generous portions. Two adults made two meals each out of two platters. Brisket chilli is way too sweet for me but lots of smokiness. Delicious corn bread. It's worth the visit and good value for the money. Next time I'm getting potato salad. Bon appetit!"

"I smelled this from the strip mall across the street. I kept looking for the source and then I saw. I rolled up before they open and got a menu. I ordered to go later on. Everyone is friendly and I got my order promptly. Beef Rib Platter with cornbread, side potatoe salad and side of greens. I added a large mac and cheese and meant to order Cole Slaw but I forgot. These sides should tell me all I need to know. The portion is big, everything is delicious. What I ordered was not salty at all and the cornbread is just sweet enough but barely which I like. Potatoes Salad good, Mac was good. Beef Ribs are pricey and their portion are huge. I wish them the best a great addition to the community."

"This place was SOOOOOOOO good. Best bbq in Philly. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because they opened on Sunday at 12. We got there at 1:10p and there were sold out of brisket (which is what I wanted to try the most) and all over meat besides chicken wings, beef or pork ribs. And they were sold out of green beans. But we got a beef rib platter and a 4 wing chicken platter. With greens, Mac and cheese, baked beans and candy yams. All the sides were fire. But the greens had a different taste. (Like they didn’t taste like grandma’s recipe)lol but everything yes was good enough to overshadow the green. Then the cornbread was heaven on earth. Will definitely be back. Hopefully they’ll have the brisket"

"I purchased a BBQ Chicken Platter with Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. It was a rainy day and they only took orders from the window. The guy who took my order was polite but appeared numb to the customers. I couldn’t wait to open my platter lol. My Collards were a bit salty but edible. Mac & Cheese had a great amount of liquid in them and barely any cheese, My platter came with a Cornbread as well. It was hitting different with the old school down south vibe; it actually had corn in it!! My BBQ Chicken was the Winner/Highlight of my platter. It was very good!! BBQ’d to perfection and the sauce was a bonus!! Not to much nor to little. Overall, I rate it a 6/10. If you are in the area; you have to check them out!!"
