Reviews of Cumberland Valley Veterinary Clinic
"We've been taking our dog to Cumberland valley pet resort for about a year and a half (since he was old enough to go). He LOVES the daycare and the pet resort! Daycare: He's always so happy to arrive and generally pretty tired when he comes home. They limit the amount of dogs to workers which makes us feel at ease. Drop off/pick up times are reasonable. I wish the prices of daycare were not progressively growing or we would choose to take our dog more often. For us it's just a matter of affordability. It would be great for them to add a camera to access whenever you want. Grooming: We went to a different groomer previous to discovering Cumberland valley's groomers- before he was very nervous to go into his grooming session but he seems to tolerate it just fine at Cumberland valley! Their grooming prices are very reasonable too. We love Kelsey!! Boarding: Our dog loves to go there no matter what the occasion. He seems to always eat well however I noticed they will ask to add chicken/tuna/etc to their food if they are not eating. They are great about giving him his medicine when he needs it. Prices have gone up a bit recently. We had chose this option more frequently before the recent raise in price but still worth what you're paying. They have recently started sharing the dog's "report card" where they will send you one picture per day and/or make short comments in regards to your dogs stay - we love this! Photoshoots: They offer seasonal photoshoots for your pet for $5. How can you say no? We love this."
"We appreciated Keija’s caring professionalism and the follow up texts the next day. Dr Saxton was very thorough, listened attentively and offered several options. We are very appreciative of being able to get a same day sick appointment for our very sick cat who was feeling better that afternoon after getting some fluids and meds. Thanks again for everything!"
"Made my first appointment for my dogs they seem extremely nice. So they are accepting new customers."
"I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS. I took miso to Cumberland Valley Veterinary Clinic to get a simple spay on September 19 2023. I put my trust in this clinic to get her back healthy. She had no health problems when dropping her off she went in just to be spayed. Two days after on September 21 2023 we came home from work expecting to see a happy cat but we came home to a cat that looked very sick. We took her cone off her and her face and body was swollen and she refused to eat and hasn’t used the bathroom since her surgery. She was also throwing up foam constantly. We Made a decision to rush her to an emergency vet due to cumberland valley being closed. When we got there they had done X-rays showing multiple pockets of air under her skin causing her discomfort and pain. Enough discomfort for her to not want to pass a bowel movement or eat or drink. She is doing somewhat better due to the care of the emergency clinic but still refuses to eat , drink , or pass bowels. I called Cumberland Valley vet clinic this morning to talk to the emergency clinic which did end up happening. I was informed by Cumberland valley vet clinic that I would not be able to speak to the proper person until Tuesday. Which I’m not sure she will make it then. At the end of this phone call the person I spoke with at Cumberland valley vet clinic asked “what would you like me to do” I said anything to help than the person on the phone continued to ask the same question. She wasn’t concerned about the well being of miso and that she might pass away due to there surgery. She didn’t offer any options on what to do. Except to ask me what I wanted them to do. My poor baby miso might die and they could care less. Below are before and after pictures. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS WITH YOUR ANIMAL!"
