"I visited this shop a few weeks ago to get a wash , blow dry and press only because I could not make it to my normal stylist. I came in the shop with my hair all over my head as it is all natural outside of a color job that I had done over a year ago which has grown out but my ends are still colored. When I sat in the shampoo chair and began getting my hair washed I smelled chemicals which smelled like a relaxer. I asked the shampoo lady if she had used any chemicals outside of shampoo which she and the owner told me no but I didn’t believe them because I smelled the chemicals. When my fair was finished being washed I noticed that the texture of my hair didn’t feel the same. When I got up to leave the owner asked me did I like my hair but I was already disgusted as I already felt like I had been lied to. Not only that, she spoke In Spanish to the woman who had done my hair and another woman who was not getting serviced. I believe she mentioned to the woman who was not getting serviced that I asked questions about whether or not chemicals were used which the lady instantly looked at me in disgust. I am very disappointed as I feel like my hair texture has changed a lot, I cut all my hair off about 3 yrs ago and was letting it grow back without any chemical straighteners, then being talked about where I could not understand, and also my hair has been shedding a lot since my visit. I am very sad because I feel like there is no way to prove wether or not they actually used chemicals which makes me absolutely furious. I’m so ready to cut my hair off and start from scratch. I will never visit this salon again."
