"First time coming here for a family dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious from the fried mushroom to the duck fried rice! Our waiter was very attentive and explained the menu well. I would definitely come back!"
"Nestled in the Mount Vernon Triangle, this Thai restaurant is a hidden gem that promises an authentic culinary journey through Thailand. The menu boasts a diverse selection of Thai dishes, each prepared with precision and a perfect balance of flavors. One standout starter is the chicken Golden-fried pockets, where the delicate balance of sweet, sour, and spicy creates a symphony for the taste buds. We also ordered Spicy-sweet calamari, which was OK. As a main course I tried Chicken red curry with chayote, which was delicious but spicy and hot. Comes with jasmine rice and i loved it. She tried the Thai vermicelli in chili peanut sauce, she liked the dish too. The attentive staff adds to the overall charm, offering recommendations and ensuring every diner feels pampered. Vegetarians will find plenty to savor with options. The portions are generous, making it ideal for one person, but not shareable size. In summary, Baan Siam excels not only in delivering delectable cuisine but also in creating a memorable dining atmosphere."
"The best Thai restaurant! Everything I ordered was excellent!! The service is also excellent! It’s very fast and food was prepared perfectly! On top of that, the price is reasonable for the quality of food, service, atmosphere and location. I’ve tried 3 of the 4 desserts with my sister. They’re all delicious. We’ll come back to try the other items on the menu. My favorites are mango salad, fried pumpkin as the starter. My favorite main dishes are fried bronzino (whole fish, but it’s actually already fillet when served), and Chicken Khao Soi. But I’m sure the rest of the food is good too. I’m going back definitely to try the rest of the items on the menu. By the way, there’s no pad Thai dish here."
"Chose Baan Siam on moment's notice and ended up loving it! For starters, I tried the Thai-style beef jerky and the Spicy-sour soup with shrimp. Both were very good, and I will likely get the soup every time I come back. The beef jerky has a nice flavor and the sauce that comes with it on the side might be one of the best all-around sauces I've ever had (I saved it for my meal). I also had some of the Green mango salad, which has a nice sweet flavor and wasn't filling. For my entree, I got the Shrimp chili paste fried rice with crispy pork belly, which was definitely the right choice. That pork belly was so good and the portion was perfect. The shrimp chili paste made the fried rice so delicious and much better than just a regular fried rice. As I mentioned before, I reused the side sauce from the beef jerky to dip the pork belly in, and OH MY was it so good. There were other things on the menu that I was curious to try, but the entree I ordered was so good that I might order it again the next time I eat here."
"Food overall its too sweet from the dishes that we ordered. BBQ pork noodle soup base it’s also on the sweet side. Pork it’s dry and doesn’t taste fresh. Service and atmosphere are good here. They don’t have regular papaya salad. Only fried style. Kind of disappointed. Appetizers were creative but missing the classic choice."
